“Road challenges”
Due to road construction in the area and insufficient signage this area is difficult to navigate by car.

Close to wonderful shopping and good transportation into DC Wonderful restaurants close to the hotel Pub in the hotel is a great place to finish the evening
“Great hotel, hard to find, not on Chain Bridge rd, but Greensboro rd”
Hotel was clean, comfortable, affordable. There was a lot of construction going on in the area, but it was managable, just follow the signage. Staff was friendly, Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Second time staying here and counting. This is a very good hotel and everytime I'm in the D.C. area I will only stay here! Once they finish with all the construction on the roads in that area then it will be that much better.
“Excellent Hotel”
Excellent hotel. Rooms are big and clean. Front desk attendants were very courteous. I asked about the shuttle service to the metro station and the attendant explained me everything I need to know about it. It was very helpful. This hotel is in a posh location with upscale restaurants.
“Great place to stay in Mclean”
Coming into this area from the West Coast to relocate, I had an entire car full of clothing and household goods, so needed to find a reliable, secure and comfortable hotel. The Crowne Plaza-Tyson's Corner fit the bill exactly: it is in an upscale area, and its parking lot (including a parking structure) is open and close in, and so a very safe area to leave a vehicle full of goods. The hotel itself is nicely appointed, the staff is responsive and friendly, and the rooms a good value for the cost (which is a bit higher than surrounding areas, based on the Mclean area, which is expensive). I would return to the Crowne Plaza in a heartbeat!
“Perfect place to stay for a family DC trip!”
The hotel is located in a nice quiet and safe place. Besides nice clean rooms, the hotel shuttle is key to staying here. The drivers are very friendly and polite. The FREE hotel shuttle will take you to the nearest Metro subway station with several scheduled pickups all throughout the day. BUT, YOU MUST LET THEM KNOW 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOU NEED THE SHUTTLE, for pickup to or from the hotel, OR YOU'LL BE LEFT BEHIND, in which case you'll just need to get a pretty much effortless and readily available cab for about $12-$16. You can buy an all-day Metro subway pass and get anywhere in DC, riding as many Metro trains as you want all day long, to see the sights! The Metro subway is THE way to go. It's safe, relatively clean, and most EVERYONE uses it. The FREE hotel shuttle will also take you anywhere within a ONE MILE radius of the hotel with 30 minutes advance notice. There is a HUGE mall, within a five minute FREE hotel shuttle ride from the hotel, that has an IMAX theatre, food court, sit-down restaurants, tons of stores and specialty shops which is a GREAT place to eat after a day of sight seeing. Hotel room service is EXPENSIVE and not really worth it unless you're STARVING. There is a small computer center inside the hotel behind the front desk and it's FREE to use. Just ask the front desk employees for a key. You can print out your airline boarding passes before you leave, etc. Overall, a great place to stay.
“Friendly staff, definately go back!”
Arrived at hotel at noon but the reception staff arranged to clean the room asap. When we came back to check in, they offered the top floor room and even arranged the extra bed without being bothered. Very coutecious, friendly mannered staff. Definately go back next DC visit !
“Great hotel close to public transportation”
The hotel is beautiful, as are the pool and health center. There is a free shuttle service to the subway, which gives cheap access to Washington DC. The shuttle on our way back was late, but it was clean and air conditioned.
“Would stay again”
Great hotel. Close to everything including wonderful restaurants. It was nice to have the option of a late checkout.
