Wyndham Grand Oklahoma City Downtown

4/10 Poor

"The pool was closed for "scheduled maintenance" but we were never told this in advance. We booked this hotel specifically so my wife could swim on her birthday and they never bothered top reach out and let us know their pool was scheduled for maintenance on the weekend of our stay. They gave us "complementary breakfast" because of the pool inconvenience and said we could drive to a hotel down the road and use their pool. After parking in the paid parking garage, We had to load up, leave, pay for that quick park, just to go to another one to swim, and come back. They do not have any free parking or comped parking available. Plus each time we needed to go to our vehicles we had to go through the hotel across the street to get to the garage. They also asked for any request, which i asked for a note saying happy birthday to my wife and even the lady who checked me in said they forgot. When you try to call the front desk you get some Ai lady and not a real person. We called and asked for new bedsheets and they never came. The fold out couch was dirty, and one of the queen beds HAD BLOOD STAINS hidden at the bottom of the sheet. Fridge had moldy water spots in the top glass, and one of the toilets was still dirty. The rooms had a musty armpit/marijuana smell. The hotel is next to some MASSIVE and LOUD generator of some sort. Don't even think about stepping out to the balcony or opening a window. This stay was extremely disappointing and we will not be back."

"The property is dated and in need of repairs. The bathtub was pulling away from the wall and the shower curtain rod was being held up by tape. The ceiling had cracks and was dirty. The TV never worked. The stairs had trash on them and there were towels and trash by the exit. The back of the property appeared to have throw up on the sidewalk and felt very unsafe. Overall the property inside and out was unkept. It was not the worst place I’ve ever stayed at but it’s in the top two."

"Breakfast was a disappointment. Although included with the stay, the property management is failing in keeping it stocked properly. There was no butter for toast and oatmeal, and there was no orange juice. Although it was supposed to be open until nine, we came down at 8:30 and they were out of waffle batter and hot breakfast items."
