“Pagoda Hotel Experience”
The rooms were well kept and the location was great. It was close to several 24 hour locations and walking distance to the main shopping center. The only drawback was if you were trying to find parking in the hotel parking lot as the spaces are limited since several spaces are blocked off for the banquet rooms catering services. However, there are additional parking spaces in the parking structure located across the street from the hotel (4th floor and above).

I was very impressed with the Pagoda Hotel. Previously I have stayed in the the Hotel and I wasn't satisfied with my stay at all but this time I was very amazed how it is well kept for an older Hotel. It was very clean, the hotel staff was very polite and helpful, and it was very convenient to stores, restaurants, and other businesses.

“The ONLY place to stay on O'ahu!”
Once again we had a wonderful time satying at the Pagoda. We understand that the hotel has been recently purchased, and we did notice a few changes. For example, the hotel used to slide a newspaper under our door every morning... no more. alas! But the staff remains familiar, friendly and served us with the aloha spirit as usual! Good Job Pagoda!! Mahalo Plenty
“Excellent location & hotel accomodation!”
I reccomend this hotel mainly for its convenience to just about everything! restaurants, mall, walmart, walgreens, local market, main bus depot, fed-ex Kinko's, post office, more stores. It's also 3-5 minute ride on bus to Waikiki and 5min walking distance to the beach! They have a great restaurant in the hotel with a discount as a guest. It's an older hotel, so it's not very new, but very well kept and spacier than Waikiki hotels for the standard price. No complaints with the service. They have a laundry room also! Could add two more washers and dryers. I was in town from the country for a week for a medical convention and it was walking distance to that as well. The neighborhood is mostly apartment residence and in the heart of Korea Town, so lots of asian cuisine. Thai food, chinese, korean, filipino with of course your usual pizza, subs and starbucks, and than theres the Ala Moana Mall with everything from Sears, Macy's, Nortrom's to Neiman Marcus, Victoria Secret, Muimui, and the Pretzel maker, Panda's, Genke Sushi to Wolfgang pucks cuizine, Bubba Gump, Macaroni Grill! the greatest thing is that I was able to WALK to everything! And I don't normally walk to anything!!! But it was too convenient to pass up and the weather was wonderful, especially walking in the evening! I really do reccomend this location and hotel service to anyone!

“Way better than I expected!”
for the price you cannot beat this hotel, i stayed at the terrace and it had a little kitchenette in it. i always came back to a clean room, people were very friendly. great location as well walmart is just down the street and further down the ala moana shopping center. i will definitely be staying here again. i guess if you have high expectations it wont be much as it is a no frills place but its perfect for those on a budget.

The Pagoda Hotel, an "old-timer" as far as Honolulu hotels go, is a comfortable, convenient hotel: close to fast food and local restaurants, the Ala Moana Shopping center, Wal-Mart, etc.
