“Excelent!”
Wish I could have stayed longer! Staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful! =)
“Perfectly fine hotel”
We were very happy with this hotel, yes it's not on the beach but we did have a sea view. It is convenient for both Ocean City and the beaches in Delaware. We had the added bonus of being in the hotel during the Winter Lightfest which is held right behind the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with breakfast which had lots to choose from: cereals, bagels, toast, muffins, sausage or ham (depending on the day), scrambled eggs, pastries, and an excellent pancake machine. The front desk were very friendly and gave lots of advice when asked. We would recommend this hotel.
“The 4th of July Weekend couldn't have been better!”
The Holiday Inn Express in Ocean City, MD was an excellent place to stay during the 4th of July weekend. All of the staff were very friendly; the accommodations perfect, thew complimentary breakfast every day was superb, and both the inside AND outside of this Inn were kept in immaculate condition. And the location, right next to a very large park and athletic fields, made the holiday week a great success. Thank you, Holiday Inn Express! And Expedia for getting me there at such a reasonable rate, too!
“Holiday Inn Express Surprise”
It was a last minute booking and the location was a bit far from from Ocean City boardwalk. It's about 6 miles away and it is really not that bad. The hotel staff were friendly and we were able to check in early. The room was clean, bed and pillows were good and not sagging. The hotel indoor and outdoor pool is nice. It would be nice if the hotel had a gym. Parking was okay. What I like most is the free breakfast. Nothing fancy but satisfying.

“Holiday Inn Express: Perfect for Weekend or Weeklong Getaway”
We loved the Holiday Inn Express. The place was very clean, the staff was friendly, and it was close to great food, the ocean front and a city park. We only had to walk a few yards away to a sandy, family-friendly beach. The Old Mill Seafood Restaruant was about a block away. It was recommended by one of gentlemen at the front desk, and he was right on target. The atmosphere was full of energy, and the food was plentiful and tasty! Just behind the hotel was a picturesque city park with a running trail, walking bridge, and ball fields that was busy, but not at all noisy. The hotel towels were clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a mini fridge and microwave right in the room. The breakfast bar, however, could be a little bigger to accommodate the large number of guests who want breakfast before beginning a long day of doing nothing in the sun.

room was very clean... no exercise room... very convenient to beach and restaurants... lovely park behind the hotel... If you want to be closer to the boardwalk as far as walking distance---this would not be convenient for you...

Our stay was wonderful. Staff and hotel were great. We enjoyed the pool and the closeness to the beach. The breakfast was very good and the staff were so helpful. It was a fun relaxing time.
“Extreme comfort and Quality for a great price”
Hot breakfast each morning consisted of eggs, meats, pastries, breads of all sorts, juice and much more. It was a real breakfast but had a little different selection each morning. Room was very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful like giving recommendations to the surrounding area activities. The hotel had and indoor pool adn free wi-fi. Now lots of hotels offer wi-fi and it's usually shotty - this hotels was super fast and easy to connect. The lobby was very inviting and there were free USA today papaers each day, there was also a convenience store in the lobby with very decent prices. I could go on about this place because I was super impressed. Will stay there again if I'm in the area.
“Nice place”
We had a king room; it was small, but clean. Staff was attentive. They offered a continental breakfast. North Side Park is right next to the hotel - what a lovely place for a stroll along the bay.
