“Stayed a long weekend”
This is a beautiful old hotel nicely updated, with charm. An easy walk to Bricktown. The air conditioning blows directly on the sleeper's head when lying in bed. The water pressure was very low in shower. These were minor inconveniences. However, the staff--from front desk to valet to servers in restaurant were very attentive and prompt in service. Highly recommend: get the package that includes the breakfast and valet parking. Otherwise, the latter is $25 a day.
“Beautiful Hotel”
Only one complaint, we had to have a room with double beds, when we booked a king because they had a group who stayed the night before and had late check out leaving all of the king rooms dirty. We did not have time to wait for a room to be cleaned. We had dinner reservations at 5pm and it was already 4:15. Form the hotel it was a 4 block walk to The Mantel resturant and a 2 block walk to the Thunder game.
“Surprise in OKC”
Grand Old hotel with soaring ceilings in the lobby, beautiful furnishings, and a beaut of a piano bar in the lobby. We were greeted warmly and efficiently by the staff and all arrangements were just as we requested. We loved the hallways which were wide, beautifully carpeted and furnished perfectly. It had the old hotel look but everythinfg was polished and up to date. Our room was located next to the maintenance closet for the elevators, which is usually the kiss of death for a good night's sleep. But, in this case the room was well insulated and only a small hum was noticed in the bath. Bed was heavenly and the room was not cramped. The flat screen TV could have been a tad larger but certainly no problem viewing from the bed. All in all a five star experience in the 4 star Skirvin.
“Great Stay!”
Best Hotel in OK City I expect. I wasn't disappointed and will return on my next trip. Only there one night , the room was great, enjoyed the fitness room and breakfast as well.
“Great Experience, FRIENDLY STAFF!!”
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Skirvin and were particularly impressed with the friendliness of the staff at the desk. They were super helpful in every way and even gifted us with free breakfast in bed for my 40th birthday! The Skirvin is beautiful and comfortable...we would recommend it!
“From the valets to the room itself this hotel is definetly a 10”
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The staff, restaurant, and the hotel couldn't have been better. We will definetely stay at the Skirvin again.

I loved the atmosphere. Everyone was friendly, accomodating, and efficient. It's location turned out to better than I had imagined. Close to Brick Town and the theater. OKC has had a very nice face lift. We enjoyed our stay very much!

It was a very interesting hotel. There is a lot of neat history there. The room was large and comfortable. Nostalgic but with a modern twist. (Nice) I would definitely stay there again and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a downtown hotel in Oklahoma City near the Bricktown/Convention area.
“A Class Act”
A clean, classy hotel. Friendly, helpful staff from reservation desk, doormen, limo driver, bartender, room attendants, and food servers. Close and convenient to downtown amenities and tourist attractions.
