"This hotel has very special memories for me. I last stayed here 40 years ago, and returning felt meaningful. The staff could not have been nicer. They welcomed me with a thoughtful little gift, and whenever there was any small mistake, they apologized graciously and handled it properly.
I love the hotel, the location, and the atmosphere. The staff is truly outstanding.
My only caution is the mattress. It was extremely soft, and after sleeping on it, my neck and back were really bothering me. Before booking, I would suggest asking about the bed or mattress firmness.
Other than that, I have great affection for this hotel and would happily return with a better mattress 😁"
