“Looking forward to my next visit”
I had a delightful experience on my stay. I look forward to my next visit. I was delighted to find they had my favorite high thread count european sheets, just like home. The staff did every thing to make my visit a joy, thank you Aliso Creek, hope to see you real soon, Sonia
“Great Getaway”
Idyllic spot near Laguna Beach.
“over the fence”
We arrived late in the evening and were greeted with a friendly "Hello". When getting things unpacked and groceries put away we noticed that some one didn't take the time to count the missing utensils, plates and glassware. Although, there were new pots and pans. It really needs some updating such as in the toilet/shower room and the kitchen needed handles on the cuboards and drawers. The pool area was very nice and children enjoyed using it. Glad to have the laundry facility. After business hours I called to see if they had coins for the machines because I didn't have enough coins to operate the machines and the front desk was able to aquire some within 30 minutes. I had requested maitanence on the stove and they were there with minutes. I requested extra towels and they were there within minutes. The service was terrific! I just wish the beds had not been ancient. They really need to do some updating! We paid a discounted rate. I don't think I would pay full price unless they update.
“On the golf course...pet friendly!”
The hotel employees were friendly and very accommodating. The beds need to be upgraded. Full kitchen and very large rooms. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!
“Great place but dated”
The resort is south of Laguna Beach, but convenient. About a 4 minute walk to Aliso Creek Beach, one of the area's nicest beaches. The resort is broken up into a series of about six joined units. We chose a one bedroom unit which was similar to a one bedroom condo. The units themselves were very well kept up by the housekeeping staff, but they are older and dated. We did not find any air conditioning, which would have been nice to dry out the dampness, but there were fans in the closets, and there was heat if you needed it. A golf coffee shop is on premises which serves light meals. Our unit had a full and fully furnished kitchen, a combo dining area/ living room with a full-sized pull-out sofa, a large master bedroom, and a great bathroom with a private vanity separated from the tub/shower/ toilet area.Great water pressure from the shower and plenty of towels. The king bed was very comfortable, the pillows hard. There was a fenced-in patio area outside the sliders for seating. They have enclosed parking and an onsite laundry. Albertson's is very close by, a golf course on premises, and you are only a few minutes from Dana Point. The resort itself is set back from the highway so you feel like you are in a very rural area. They have a very nice pool and hot tub, which can get noisy, and a surrounding green area. It is a great area for families with children because of the area. A great place if you want to be away from things, but I would like them to update the resort.
“A great golf getaway place to stay”
The pricing was a little steep in comparison to some of the more luxurious accomedations in surrounding Laguna Hills. This property reminded me more of a senior citizen retreat that I would expect of a typical Inn situated on golf property.
“Easter Break 2012”
I rented a two story -two bedroom town home during Easter Break. Good sized rooms with basic amenities. Nice location - close to Aliso State Beach and there's a shopping plaza right on the PCH. Grounds are properly kept. Golfers and even non-golfers will have a good time enjoying the relaxing scenery. Don't complain about the hotel - it might be dated but it adds to the rustic "feel" of camping in the canyons. The only thing I didn't like was the patio because it was dirty - cigarette butts and ashes all over - they didn't clean it. (I even took pictures of this mess).
“Horrible experience”
very dated, thread bare furniture and should be an embarrasment to the Montage which owns the property.
“Would never stay there again.”
This hotel is very run down and badly needs upgrading. The beds are uncomfortable and the room smelled. Everything needing painting and washing. Was definitely not what we expected when we made the reservation. Very disappointing.
“The worst hotel room ever!”
This was the worst hotel experience. Expensive dirty run down. Nothing like the pictures on expeda website. Very disappointed.

Laguna - South Beaches, California, United States of America: Reality TV portrays Laguna Beach as the land of the young and spoiled. But beneath this veneer is a city rooted in the arts. The Laguna Playhouse is one of the oldest theaters in the West Coast. The city also hosts the annual Festival of the Arts/Pageant of the Masters and the Sawdust Art Festival. West of Laguna Beach, Crystal Cove State Parks unspoiled beach attracts snorkelers and divers.
