Sol Restaurant - Creative "world island" cuisine and décor are offered at the signature restaurant for this Newport Beach hotel. The menu is influenced by the Caribbean, South Pacific, and Gulf of Mexico. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Sunday brunch are served.
Lobby Lounge - Extensively renovated in early 2011, the lounge area surrounds a limestone fireplace with ledges displaying custom, regional art. Extensive wine collection, signature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and appetizers.
Entertainment
The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach is home to an annual Summer Jazz Festival weekend in May. A Summer Concert Series featuring a different artist in the on-site amphitheater is featured each Friday night from late June through September.
Recreation
Hyatt Regency Newport Beach offers three outdoor pools with spa tubs and spacious sundecks. A full-size sand volleyball court, shuffleboard, Ping-Pong, and a 24-hour fitness center are also available.
The property is also home to an award-winning nine-hole, par-three executive course. The concierge can arrange tee times at nearby 18-hole championship courses. Advanced reservations for tee times are required.
The hotel's adjacent Palisades Tennis Club, site of several major World Team Tennis events, offers 10 lighted championship courts, with professional staff available for private lessons (surcharge).

“Staff and service”
Great staff and service. The lock on the door broke and after maintenance fixed it, they gave me a voucher for free breakfast.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME, THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND GREAT PLACE TO STAY AT . VERY HAPPY BUT THE PARKING WAS 20 PER NIGHT .

Beautiful hotel, perfect location..... we wanted to be by the beach, and close to Disneyland. This hotel was in the perfect spot.... walking distance to a beautiful beach / play area and only 30 minutes to Disneyland!

The location of this hotel is terrific, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff was very professional and helpful. I was so happy to find that the restaurant offered delicious vegan and gluten free items!

Excellent room except I wish the beds were Queens instead of 2 doubles. The room was clean, nicely decorated. Staff was always helpful! Parking is a hassle because you have to valet park and they charge $29.00 a day!
