“NP Beach”
Beautiful hotel and excellent service. Will definitely stay there again when I am in the area.
“Beautiful but pricey.”
We traveled with a 15 year old and they provided a twin rollaway for him that was very comfortable. The king bed was very comfortable as well. room service was very good but the amenities were rather pricey, i.e. to leave your car overnight with the valet was $30 a night, food was great but on the high side. Big disappointment with the pool, only 3'6" throughout the pool, just a big wading pool.
“wonderful hotel”
If you want a wonderful stay, this hotel exceeded all my expectation, I would highly recommend it.
“A great getaway”
This is a 5 star hotel within walking distance to Fashion Island shopping center and quick car ride to Balboa Island and beach. The hotel makes you feel you are in Hawaii or some other tropical Island. Great pool, fitness center, even tennis courts! They even let us delay our checkout so we could stay a couple extra hours.

This was my first visit to Newport Beach, CA and the Island Hotel. I was highly impressed with the service, hotel cleanliness, comfort of room, and overall amenities. You truly felt like they wanted to make your stay grand and I can not think of one thing that I would have changed. This was a place you can certainly relax away from home....even on business!!
“Friendly”
Check in was a pleasure as the clerk was very friendly even if it was midnight. Very good and attentive staff. Enjoyed the nice surroundings and ambiance. Only other thing I would add is the parking was a bit of a sticker shock. Would be nice to know up front that it is just under $30 per day somewhere on the website.
“Island Hotel”
The service is the best of any hotel that I have stayed in. The rooms are quite and nice size. I always enjoy my stay when I am in Southern California.
“Very nice hotel--just as they say--casual elegance”
Excellent service--24hr room service-honored some special accomodations we required--restaurants very good---live entertainment fun--pool and BBQ dinner very nice. While more upscale, still very welcoming and accomodating to my 2yr old. Will definitely return.
