“The same, also cheaper.”
This was my third stay in this hotel. The previous ones were when it was Best Western International. Same excellent location (well, no surprises there),same rooms, same facilities, but nearly half the price. Didn't have any problems with the SeaWorld shuttle. No ants on the sinks (has been mentioned on previous reviews) but saw a cockroach on the curtain (also mentioned on the reviews). If you are going to spend your entire day in the hotel, then it might not be a good place to stay, but really, who does it in Orlando?
“Fix the TV!”
All in all, I was very pleased with the EconoLodge. For a hotel in this price range, it was clean and comfortable. My only real complaint was that the reception on the TV was terrible--it kept cutting out while I was trying to get the "Local on the 8's" on the Weather Channel. Other than that, very pleased with the staff (they brought me extra blankets!) and the accommodations.
“Outstanding service, good rooms, great location”
Going to Orlando for Star Wars Celebration V with a friend. Booked the trip though Expedia in December of '09 for the event in August '10. When we got to the hotel, it was late. As we were being waited on to get checked in it seemed to be taking awhile. The gentleman waiting on us (Matt) seemed to be having some trouble with the reservation. Being that there were alot of people in Orlando for this event it was not a concern. I had requested (2) rooms with double beds in each as at the time I was not sure if we were going to have others with us. I got checked in and my friend started his check in. Matt then asked if either of us smoked. I said that I did. He asked if I would like an upgrade to a smoking suite at no charge as they did not have enough rooms (I guess they overbooked). I asked if , as a result of the overbooking , me and my friend were going to have to share the suite (he does not smoke). Matt said no that he would have the original room booked. My friend joked he would take a suite too even though he does no smoke. Matt said that was no problem and his would be upgraded too at no charge. He also said that if the room was too smokey he could get another room. We agreed and got the suites. Upon getting in the room, I noticed that mine had ALOT of mold in it. Bedroom, bathroom, front room all had it on the walls and ceiling. Went to the front desk and told them about the problem. Got another smoking suite with no problem! Both our rooms were clean and had no odor.

“Excellent all round”
Nice quiet hotel in a nice location on drive. This is third time of using and would recommend to anyone. Plenty restaurants within walking distance. Nice little Cafe at poolside and laundry facilities. Bus service from hotel to disney parks for people who don't want hire car. All in all good value for money.
“Can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!!”
Very Happy with our visit to Econo Suites, we have stayed at several of the hotels on I-Drive, and this was one of the Best, great location, clean rooms, very friendly helpful staff, can't wait to go back, will stay there again, only 1 negative comment, no free transportation to the parks. But overall, it was a great stay.
“Excellent Choice”
This hotel is an excellent choice, based on the value, price and location.
“Centrally located and comfortable”
I stayed for a weekend at the beginning of December and was very satisfied. The hote is centrally located on International Drive and it was just a short walk away to great restaurants and shopping. The beds were comfortable, although it was quite chilly that weekend and the blankets are thin. You may ask the desk for one or two more. The bathroom looked like it had just been completely remodeled and was very clean. The water pressure was perfect and the tub was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who was going to Orlando for a few days or even a week.
