The property is very nice and very well kept. The amenities are very much enjoyable, The restaurant Mikado is very tasteful, great service, I absolutely recommend.
However, We will not be back.
The hotel staff including front desk manager, Derek, lack customer service. Derek specifically spoke to us upon arrival in a very dirty tone and said "Can't you see it's a busy weekend", Because we were very upset, we arrived at 4:02pm, check in is at 4:00pm. Not until 5:15pm were we given our room. One hour later. Excuse me? Should I have booked my stay a different time of the year? Should I have pushed my son's birthday further? People like Derek do not belong in this industry. Checked in with two small children ages 1 and 7 to celebrate our eldest birthday. The Saturday of our stay. I tried asking pool attendant if she could put us on at least a wait list for anything that became available by the pool and she seemed so upset that I had interrupted her conversation with her co-worker. We chose this resort amongst tons available in Orlando to stay for five days and celebrate our son's birthday, it took a lot for us to get here, we were torn. We did not spend $1,000.00 to sit on the floor near the pool. The lack of customer service took us by far.
We thank front desk manager, Deborah and agent, Kimberly for taking their time to listen and attempt making our experience on property better. A little goes a long way. Everyone should be like Deborah and Kimberly.
