“Orlando DisneyWorld/Universal Residence Inn - great stay”
Absolutely a great place to stay. First trip to Orlando with the family (2 kids - age 7 and 9 for a week and the 2 bedroom suite was perfect. Each kid had their own bed and bathroom and big flatscreen TVs in every room. I took a laptop and had no problems getting access to internet - which was really helpful in getting info and detailed directions to nearby restaurants. I had a GPS, which really made it easy to get around too. The hotel is off of Palm Parkway, which has easy access to Disney World and SeaWorld (I didn't go to the latter, but it was really nearby). We also went to Universal Studios, which was pretty close too. Traffic gets bad getting to the freeway, but otherwise excellent location. Having the kitchen was great for leftovers and snacks - nearby market (front desk provided paper directions) was easy to get to. We used the laundry facilities and had no problems at all. Breakfast was typical - but consistent and quite good considering. Kids loved it (made it easier on us too), though more than a week might get old. Pool was fine - though pool towels always had to be asked for at night. Room service was excellent - always clean. No safe in the room that I found. No hassles finding spaces to park in. Staff always courteous. Game room was not the best - but that was not the point of staying there anyway. Would definitely stay there again without hesitation. Make sure you have quarters if travel via tollway. Kids want to stay there again.
“A great honeymoon experience”
We recently went on our honeymoon to Orlando and chose this hotel due to price and proximity to DisneyWorld and SeaWorld. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hot breakfast bar in the morning was better than I imagined or than I have seen at any other hotel. We loved the fountain in the back but just wished it would have remained on all night as it would have been nice to sleep to the sound of it.

From the moment we checked in with the professional and friendly front dest staff to the time when we first entered our room, we knew we had found a home away from home. The hotel is brand new, very clean, staff courteous and efficient. I asked for extra towels and pillows which were at our door within minutes! The breakfast was incredible and the hotel could not have been closer to all Disney attractions. As it is located just off of Interstate 4, access is easy and convenient. The two bedroom suite we had was perfect and the beds were so comfy I could have slept all day! We definitely will stay here again!

“The hotel was ecellent”
The hotel was excellent it made our stay so much more relaxed everything was convient the shuttle service to the parks, the buffet breakfast made it easy so there was one less thing to worry about, the rooms were kept very clean and supplies available, the pool was alittle cold at times but always kept clean, there was 2 hot tubs but only one in service while we were there at times 2 were really needed overall our stay was excellent.

This hotel is very nice. Families would definitely feel welcome here. The breakfast was really good. Our room was very clean. We really liked the Family suite. Beds are very comfortable! We would stay here again for future Orlando trips!
“Family Van in Orlando!”
We came to Orlando to get the "Disney experience"!!! The Residence Inn was an A+++ hotel to stay at. To start the morning off, we got a FABULOUS breakfast~ scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, yougart, cereal, toast, oatmeal. It was great to be able to fill the kids up before a long day of walking at the park. We also had a full kitchen in our room. We went to Walmart, which is a few miles away, and purchased pizzas, milk, and other goodies. After walking all day the kids just wanted to come back and swim, so we would make sandwiches and a pizza and hit the pool. It saved us a lot of money not having to go out to eat every night. The staff was wonderful on ideas of which beach to go to and they were friendly in answering all of our other questions. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Well worth the money!!!!!!

Checked in to the Residence Inn after leavimg another hotel that just was not up to par. I must say that the Residence Inn met all my expectations and more. The pool was great and so was the FREE breakfast buffet. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and the entire staff was friendly and very helpful. I was so impressed that I signed up for the rewards plan.
