“Great Place to Stay”
Hotel was very nice, the front desk was a little backed up and had to wait, but everything else was very nice. Excellend Pools and lots to do. The bus service to the disney parks was excellent never had to wait more than 5 minutes, most times there was a bus waiting.
“A Winner”
We are florida residents that travel to Disney about 4-5 times a year. This was our first stay at the Dolphin and although there was some construction, it did not hinder our stay at all.The Room was very clean, and the Heavenly beds are the most comfortable of any Hotel we have stayed. The nice thing is that you can walk the boardwalk and not be confined to just " your hotel", but, enjoy the scenes of many, more expensive hotels, ESPN, and eating places. Great pools, and plenty for the kids to enjoy... We really enjoyed the place...
“Second time a the Walt Disney World Dolphin”
We really like staying at the Dolphin -- to prove it, this is our 2nd stay! Three adult couples (2 couples in their 20's & their parents!). The best thing of course is the location--so fun to walk right down to the Boardwalk and can even walk to Epcot which is our favorite park. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the service is just excellent and the price is not the highest of all the different Disney resorts. Of course we love the extra perks of staying at a "Disney Hotel". Free transportation to any of the theme parks or other resorts, Magic hours, etc. We just love this hotel!
“awesome place to stay”
Right from the front door to the elavators with hard wood floor , this was by far one of the nicest hotels .. The front desk staff was friendly , room service was fast and pleasant ... the transportation to the parks was covenient and easy to find .we would stay there again for sure ..
“Would stay again”
The rooms are exactly what we saw on-line. The Dolphin only has two double beds in a standard room or one king bed in a standard room. I heard the Swan has two queen beds in there standard room. We were rarely in our rooms, but the beds were extremely comfortable. Exactly what we needed after a long day. Always had hot water in our showers..
“Looking forward to our next stay.”
Room was very comfortable and clean. We slept great from Day one, and our beds were very comfortable. Our power to our TV and a light bulb in our bathroom went out, and was fixed right away. The Bath towels were large and luxurious. The pool area was fabulous. The only drawback was that our room was very small and the bathroom area was cramped. I would highly recommend the Dolphin, and we will be staying there again.
“Best kept secret at Disney!!!”
This hotel was a wonderful location for Disney Parks. A+++++. A short water taxi ride from Epcot and Hollywood Studios and a short bus ride to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. Short waits for both taxi and bus. Overall, hotel was beautiful and had lots to offer on property. Our wing (west wing) was a little out-dated (minor stains and wear on the carpets) but still very clean. There is also a wonderful pool and all kinds of outdoor activities. We would DEFINETLY stay here again and would recommend it to others. A perfect option if you want to be on Disney property but not at a "Disney" hotel. The main reason we picked this originally was because they allowed 5 people in a room (2 adults and 3 small kids) and most of the Disney resorts do not allow 5 in a room! We one-uped you, Disney!!!! Hoo-ray!
“Love the Dolphin”
Location, location, location... that is what you are paying for. The hotel is nice too.
“Would definitely stay again”
Lovely property, great location.
“It was a great vacation!!”
We booked our flight, hotel, and shuttle to/from airport all through Expedia. It was easy and everything worked out great for us. The Dolphin Hotel was wonderful with great views and comfortable atmosphere. Everything was VERY EXPENSIVE (i.e. $8 for a regular sized box of Wheat Thins ... $7.25 for a drink at the bar ... $17 ONE WAY taxi fare to a gas station with maybe some cheaper snacks/pop/water). However, the FREE shuttle service, including a ferry boat, to and from the Disney parks was awesome. It would have been nice to have had the "per night fee" the hotel charges included from the start. Furthermore, we booked for 5 people and the room really only sleeps 4 people (2 double beds). However, the staff at The Dolphin Hotel were understanding and, since it was our first stay with their hotel, they graciously threw in a rollaway bed at no additional charge. The conceirge service at the hotel was AWESOME and "Jenn" gave us a wonderful overview of what we should do during our stay and attractions that were a must do. All in all, it was a great experience and we would likely go back. We didn't have time to spend at the pools, but it would have been nice because they looked fabulous!
