Rooms
This Lake Buena Vista resort features 759 guestrooms in a 12-story building. All guestrooms measure 340 square feet (31 square meters), and include the signature Westin Heavenly Bed. The Heavenly Bed consists of a custom-designed, foot-thick pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding; triple sheeting; down blanket, comforter and duvet; and five pillows (two goose down/feather, two hypo-allergenic, and a decorative "boudoir" neck roll pillow).
All rooms contain multi-line phones (one cordless), high-speed Internet access (included in the resort fee), refrigerators, and lighted makeup/shaving mirrors.

Il Mulino New York Trattoria - Serving traditional cuisine from Italy's Abruzzi region served in a rustic atmosphere. Serving dinner each day.
Garden Grove - Designed using a Central Park theme and visited by Disney Characters evenings and at breakfast Saturdays and Sundays. Open for buffet breakfast and dinner and à la carte lunch.
Kimonos - Sushi and sake are served in this beautiful little restaurant. Cooked entrées, including yakitori and fresh fish, are also offered. Karaoke machine cranks up after dark.
Splash Grill - This poolside cafe serves lunch and snacks, including pizza and burgers.
Lobby Court - This quiet spot just off the lobby serves pastries and coffee in the morning, and wine and specialty drinks in the afternoon and evening. A pianist often entertains after dark.

Recreation
The Walt Disney World Swan offers extensive recreational facilities, shared with the adjacent companion property, include a white-sand beach for sunbathing, 5 pools, 3 of which are outdoors, spa tubs, a children's playground, and 4 tennis courts. “Great Deal!!”
My husband and I only stayed one night at this hotel as a mini get away for our anniversary. Since we had limited time to go to Epcot, I wanted to make sure we stayed as close as possible without breaking the bank. We stayed in the Swan side and it was great. We arrived around 11:30 and they allowed us to check in early and gave us a room with a King bed instead of the double queens. Our view was of the parking lot, but I didn't ask for any specific view and it really didn't bother me as we weren't really in the room all that long other than to sleep and get ready for the next day. It was really nice to be able to ride the boat over to Epcot. That night, we decided to take the walk back instead of the boat and it wasn't that long of walk. This hotel is really right in the middle of it all! Our room was clean, the bed and pillows were really comfy, and the staff there was great! We had the breakfast buffet the next morning before we checked out, which was a little pricy in my opinion (but this is Disney folks) but well worth it if you have little kids with you. We saw Goofy, Pluto, and Chip & Dale all taking pictures with the little kids and our server was super nice and waited on us like crazy (despite that it was a buffet!). We didn't use the pool area, but did check it out before we left. It's really big!! We will be back to this hotel again!! Oh...and just to note, we didn't have any moldy smell in our room as others reported.

Very nice resort! One of the nicest hotels that I have stayed at. Disney transportation was very convenient & easily accessible. Will stay again!!!
“We had a relaxing and fun time!! The hotel was better than we thought it was going to be”
We had a fun vacation and enjoyed relaxing and eating at the Swan when we were not busy visiting the Disney and Unerversal parks. The Swan was so close to everything. We enjoyed the restaurants and fresh lemonade and ice tea daily. We could walk or take a boat ride to MGM and Epcot and we could see the firworks from our hotel. We relaxed by the pool a few days and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower head was better than home. I liked having the refrigerator in the room so I could keep drinks cold.

The hotel room was quite spacious and the view was worth a million dollars. I am planning our next trip back to the Swan in the fall. I highly recommend this hotel for couples looking for a romantic Disney getaway.
“Will Stay at the Swan Again!”
Beautiful hotel, good service, nice pool, excellent access to the Disney parks, terrific dining options here, also at the neighboring Dolphin and at Disney's Boardwalk. This was the first time I stayed at a Disney property off the monorail line, and it was quieter, less crowded, and had better park access, at least for travel with older children. The Swan is elegant, not Disney charming, so younger children might miss that, but my 13 and 18 year old boys loved it.
“Great Hotel”
Was very happy with everything at the Swan. The greatest thing is the boat from the hotel to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Parking is a little steep, but I guess that is par for the course. They upgraded us to a single King room with balcony when we had a 2 Queen room we didn't even have to ask, thought that was pretty cool. Overall, I would definately stay there again if I had the oppurtunity.
“Great Location”
Hotel service was great. Hotel very nice and so were the staff. Location great for quick trips to Epcot or Hollywood Studios by quick ferry ride. Excellent pool and beach area for kids. Room had king size very comfortable bed. Great for my wife, 3 year old and myself. Plenty of room to move around. Reason for 3 score on room cleanliness was stained towels in room on arrival and next days maid service. Towels were laundered but permanently stained and should have been removed from stock. Big turnoff for such a nice hotel.

Did not like separate charge for daily parking!!!!! I have never been charged by a hotel for parking(except for valet).
“BEST deal ever”
My wife and I booked this trip to celebrate our 13th anniversary. After carful consideration I chose the Swan due to its close proximity to the Disney parks. Overall I thought it offered a great value and convenience. We spent very little time getting to where we wanted to go. We ate at Schula’s Steak house and went to the Mandara SPA in The Dolphin hotel a two minute walk. The Boardwalk was just a five minute walk from the hotel and also had several restaurants to choose from. The pool was great and the gym was large compared to other hotels. Granted we went on the off season so our experience was different. Overall this is on top of my list if I return next year.
