"We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. "This place was perfectly adequate in every way. There are; however, train tracks right behind the property. Our toddler loved watching the trains, but it wasn’t exactly quiet. Parking was super easy and there’s a nice grocery store less than a 4”5 minute walk. Convenient to get to the train!"

"Beautiful spot in the top of the hill with a fantastic view. You can walk to have an almost 360 degree view of the Tuscany Valley and smell the great collection of roses. "The villa is truly beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfasts are excellent. There is also the added advantage of plenty of parking. Our stay was only relatively short (4 nights) but we could happily have stayed at Hotel Villa Ciconia for several weeks. "

"Very nice stay in a wonderful location"

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good parking. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station where you can take the cable car up to the old city. Best if you have a car since there is free parking below the train station and you’ll need to take the cable car into the old city. Breakfast is fair and available daily. Sound travels from the hallway as well as the street below, esp if you have your window open. AC is in the room but seemed to be hard to modify and the room stayed warm....
