“Hotel hits the spot”
I've been to this hotel twice and, for me, it hits the target: 1. Very handy for Central Station 2. Good buffet (standard fare) in morning 3. Free tee/coffee, complimentary apples 4. Free gym - also with (free) personal trainer on Tues/Weds 5. Well priced for Norway Only downside was the lack of English TV channels - was stuck with BBC World News.

The location of this hotel was very convenient. Easy to find from the Central Train Station. Great lobby (with free coffee, latte, cappucino), free internet, cool decor, great breakfast.

Great value, central location, excellent buffet meal plan and our room had an excellent view of Oslo and its "Wall Steet" trading center.
“Oslo's expensive - good deal at this hotel”
I was leaving on a cruise from Oslo harbor and I needed a hotel for one night after arriving in the country. This hotel was located very close to the train station and was conveniently located for walking about downtown Oslo. Yes, there is a needle exchange around the corner but I didn't see anyone who made me feel threatened - but then, I'm from a city in California with a lot of homeless. The rooms are quite spartan - I would not want to stay here for an extended period due to the fact that there are no drawers and no closet - just hooks on the wall. But for a one night stay it was perfect. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. I would definitely stay here again if I was going on another cruise.
“Lovely, clean comfortable hotel.”
An excellent hotel in a great location. Very friendly service from the reception desk. Excellent, wide choices with the included breakfast. Within walking distance to the train station and all of Oslo's major attractions and transport. Clean and warm (a plus in Oslo in winter).
“Great Hotel”
The hotel is only 2 minutes walk from the main station and in a quiet location near some museums and the Akershus Castle. Some rooms also look out onto the newly built opera house. The hotel itself is excellent and has just been newly refurbished, so has a modern, clean feel to it. The staff were all very helpful and ensured my trip was enjoyable. The breakfast was good with juices, fruits, breads, cheeses, meats etc. I wonld go back to this hotel for the location and proximity to the station, location for sights around oslo (1 minute walk to Karl Johans Gate) and for the friendly staff and confortable and modern surroundings. The hotel also has free internet and sells drinks and snacks in the lobby!

I would certainly use this hotel again. Centrally located near the train staion within walking distance of most of the city's attractions. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Most importantly a great continental breakfast!

Hotel was in an excellent location, within easy walking distance of most attractions. Hotel staff was very helpful and breakfast was good. I would most definitely stay here again upon a return to Oslo.
“Great value in Oslo”
This is NOT a luxery hotel but it is very pleseant. It is clean and functional and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast, which is included, is extensive. Given the price of everything in Oslo, the breakfast is worth a fortune! The location is fabuous, a few short block from the central train station. This was an excellent value for money. I recommend this hotel without reservation.
