“Great Staff”
We arrived a couple hours early and our room wasn't ready yet.But the the lady at the desk said she could give us a key to the pool area and they could store our bags until our room was ready. My son was in heaven made a great start to the trip.Thank You so much Rob
“Holiday Inn Kanata is the safe bet”
I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Kanata Canada. This hotel is very modern with great facilities and a above average restaurant inside. The restaurant has a great bar for watching football but for some reason all the TVs were set to hockey - I didn't know that people still played hockey but it seems that the locals like the sport. Anyway - the room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. This hotel is a good quite place to stay in Kanata and close to everthing. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were great, happy and helpful.

I was there on business. Great location, lots of stores and a movie theater nearby. Restaraunt on-premise was great fro breakfast, lunch, & supper. Highly recommended.

“Excellent Service”
This hotel was professionally run. Every employee was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the business service, pool, and exercise room were well kept up.

I found the staff from the front desk to the staff in the restaurant all very pleasant and very helpful and professional. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
“Excellent location for Kanata area”
Within minutes of the core Kanata area, and about a 30 minute drive to downtown Ottawa depending on traffic. Very pleasant hotel to stay at.
“Poor hallway noise control”
The hotel had excellent facilities except for a key aspect of noise control through door to hallway which on the Saturday night in question was extremely poor. Even standard conversations in the hall ~11:30 pm came straight through, and revellers arriving back at 2:50 am woke us up. The Staff gave us courtesy free breakfast, with restaurant staff being very accommodating and friendly. However, front desk discussion that they knew about the problem of lack of door noise control, and didn't yet have a solution was very disconcerting. The explanation of needing to find a solution that allowed hearing hall fire alarms, while controlling noise seemed very lame. We've never experienced this level of problem, so are unsure why the staff do not have a solution.
