“Can't be beat”
The interior of the building looked like it had been recently renovated, in a nice way. The rooms especially left nothing to be desired. Add to that the sustainable label and price, and there can not be a better selection.
“Affordable stay”
I was pleased with my short stay. For the size of the hotel, it was quite, cozy & confortable. I have no negative things to say. The staff were friendly, the location is great, just off the highway & the hotel is pretty clean.
“excellent value”
The hotel was excellent value for the room rate. Clean spacious guest rooms, decent size bathroom. The only complain was the breakfast area which was in the reception area and there were insufficient tables and chairs. Also the breakfast offered was very limited. But overall I would go back and stay at this hotel again. I found it convenient for getting around town and it was easy to find which is vital as we were not from Ottawa.
“Lovely room”
The room was clean, comfortable. The furnishings were lovely. Comfortable bed. Free wireless internet service was a snap to set up and the speed was wonderful. Television was a bit small. Complimentary continental breakfast was adequate. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Of all the places we stayed in Canada on this trip, this was our favorite.
“Fit the bill”
The small intimate personal nature of the sign-in area/hotel entry was appealing. The man at the front desk was very helpful in finding nearby eateries. Free parking was always available near the front door, very convenient when loading and unloading my car. The room was clean and quiet, even though I was close to the elevator. I like this place. Best of all, the hotel was seconds away from the major traffic arteries I was using.

We have stayed at Welcominns 3 times over the past year. We are happy with the location and with the over all standard of the hotel. Nice to get up in the morning and head down stairs for a Continental Breakfast. And nice to have a gym at the hotel! The staff are very friendly, helpful and make us feel right at home. Over all stay.... excellent! Will definitely stay here again next year!

The room was clean and the service was great. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are traveling to Ottawa. It is located right off of the 417, so very little city driving is required to get there.

Reasonable rates with many extras included such as free parking, internet and breakfast. Minutes by car to downtown core, easy access to public transportation, restaurants and shopping mall. Clean, quiet and friendly hotel for both business and leisure travel.
