“Wonderful owners”

The owners of this hotel are exactly what you'd want them to be -- a very sweet, hospitable couple who handle their customers personally, well connected in the neighborhood and take a lot of pride in their work. Since they handle your requests personally, you will always get an honest, simple answer, no red tape or "that's the policy" type remark. The bed wasn't the most comfortable (not terrible either) but otherwise the room was nice. Internet worked well, and lots of old world charm. The breakfast was very nice, not the best english breakfast we had but authentic and competent. Location was excellent in the middle of charming Woodstock, within easy walking distance of Blenheim Palace as advertised.
