“Great but not ideal”
This is my second stay at this beautiful hotel in Palermo, Sicily. While I enjoyed coming back and room we had was as wonderful as I remembered, there are a few things I'd like to see changed. For instance, as a 5-star hotel, the rooms are not even equipped with free wifi service. Guests had to purchase a daily data plan if they want internet service. When we discussed this with their manager, all he said was many 5-star hotels are like this. Another thing that I need to point out is the location is a bit out of the way. Although for some, hiding in a place away from the hustle bustle of Palermo could be ideal, for those who want to explore the city, you almost always need to rely on taxis to go anywhere,especially if you stay there during off season,when the hotel stops their free shuttle services to city center.
