“The Riviera Palm Springs is Exceptional”
From valet, to the bellman to the front desk agent I received nothing less than exceptional service! The spa is also divine, if you go for a massage I highly recommend Alex - he left my muscles relaxed and my mind invigorated. What a treat overall, I'll be back!
“Great for Tennis Fans”
great hotel and the 6 tennis courts were an added plus especially for tennis fans during the BNP Paribas Open
“I love tjis Hotel”
Sooooooo Beautiful Hotel
“Excellent Stay 2010”
I'd recommend staying here to anyone. The resort was very clean, staff was very polite, the food was great, my wife and I had a great time for a week. Weekdays are pretty uneventful with roughly 50 people around the pool (it holds 96). Come Saturday it is another story. Pool side holds 200, and if you don't have a seat by 8 a.m. or so, you're out of luck. Even though filled to capacity pool side, with the shape of the pool it doesn't get crowded. The specialty drinks from the bikini bar are great, as is the food. In the evening pool side is very relaxing with the fires going and the breeze blowing off the mountain. Choose carefully what type of room you consider. A room with a view of the pool can mean the secondary pool with kids instead of the main pool with adults.
“I Loved it!”
I booked this hotel with pretty low expectations. (Sometimes the web=site looks better than the actual hotel) I would have to say although our overall experience was great. The pool area was beautiful, comfortable and clean, with poolside service. The rooms were clean, funky and modern decor. We never even left the hotel all weekend we did the pool during the day, they had bars and lounges in the hotel at night, even with a DJ. In the main lobby they have nice little nooks where people can hang-out and have a drink, and even a pool table. Totally relaxing environment staff was courteous and friendly. Criticisms: The on-site reteraunt was overpriced and disappointing, they made us wait awhile for our dinner and when it came out it was cooked wrong. Good point though they did offer us a free dessert for the wait. There are no ice machines (that i could find) and you can hear a little bit of noise from your next door neighbor. Overall though it's a fun place to go hangout and relax and if you want party.
“Nice cool looking place”
Nice place with very cool decor. My only iss was that I opted to save some $$ and park myself rather than valet and a parking space was tough to be found on a Friday night.
“Enjoyed our stay!”
This was our 3 year wedding anniversary weekend and we enjoyed it at the Riviera Resort & Spa. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous from the valet when we first arrived, the front desk, the gift shop host, and to the rest of the staff we encountered on the property. The decor of the hotel was gorgeous in its retro contemporary chic theme. The rooms were extremely roomy for our 20 month old son to run around in! The bed and bedding were very comfortable and definitely enjoyed a good night's sleep. Loved the flat screen tv and the huge bath tub! The pool area was very relaxing with the cabanas and day beds while you enjoyed food and beverage service and relaxing lounge music in the background. The music could have been turned down just a tad..... The spa was heaven! Had great treatments, facial, massage and bikini wax, and the staff were very professional and friendly! We can't wait to spend another weekend getaway there! THe only bad thing.....not to be placed in a room where you're earshot from the bar. Friday night/early Saturday morning partying was a bit too loud!!!! Overall it was a great stay and loved the renovation!
“Great stay in Palm Springs”
Was treated very well by the staff. Very nice property.
