“friendly hotel”
well rated, good facilities and will get better. Found the staff excellent and helpful, even the cleaners were good.
“Fine place to stay”
staff are friendly. hotel is fine. about 20 minute walk to the harbour..nightlife is about half the distance in that direction. would definitely stay here again
“Nice hotel, not very good area!!”
Overall we feel the hotel was very nice, the best was the 2 pools, soooo nice. One bad point is that the maids didn't clean everyday and we had to ask at reception more toilet rolls a few times. The apatment was very spacious and we were suprised with how nice it was! Beware though, the hotel is situated in a residential area which isn't very nice, and quite away from the harbour and nice bits of paphos. even though you can get a bus to the beach and harbour for 80 cents, we were left feeling a little isolated, and its quite hard to get that holiday feeling in that area! We would go back to paphos but stay in a hotel nearer to everything.The actual hotel is lovely though, just not the location.
“Good base and good value.”
We just wanted somewhere clean and comfortable to go back to each night and it was fine for this. The Hotel has loads of facilities/activities, for families in particular, which we did not use. Some of the evening entertainment generated a fair bit of noise : we were mostly back around about midnight and it had finished by then. My wife felt that the immediate area around the hotel was not ideal for a woman on her own at night but was fine during the day and when we were together at night. There are lots of unfavourable reviews about this accommodation on various sites - I think that it represents good values for money. Some people claimed to have been charged extra for the use of the apartment fridge - we used it extensively and were not charged extra.
“Mayfair appartments start of season”
I travelled at the start of the season, myself and my partner made lots of friends their and the staff were friendly and helpful. The best team were the entertainments crew who really made the holiday for us and the sports and evening entertainment, get involved to make friends!
“Standard Self Catering Apartment”
I stayed at The mayfair in Oct 07. It is a very pleasant set of apartments. They are not fancy but are clean and quite large. The harbour is a 10 min walk and Paphos town is a 10-15 min walk the otherway. It is quite difficult to find the harbour the first time but once you get your bearings it is easy.
“Value for money but no Hilton!”
We stayed in one of the Mayfair Apartments and whilst the room served its purpose (and was fantastically cheap!) it was not the kind of place you would want to hang out in. The bedspreads were old and faded, the televisions was tiny (about ten inches) and the bathroom was completely internal with no ventilation which gave the whole room a damp smell. However the beds were very comfortable and the kitchenette was functional with a kettle, toaster and double hotplate. Whilst the hotel has little control over this, a lot of the neighbouring apartments were very loud into the early hours of the morning and the sound carried a lot down the hallways and through the walls.
“Close to Bars and Harbour”
The hotel itself is acceptable, the pools are clean and the grounds are tidy enough. My main problem was the condition of our room, the bathroom was not very clean and the lights were hanging of the wall (which was a bit worrying). On the plus side it is about a ten minute walk to the harbour and there are plenty of bars/cafes/shops within a few minutes. Overall the location is good, but the room was dissapointing.

“cheap anjd cheerful but scruffy”
cheep and cheerful very noisy ,pool is surrounded by rooms on 3 sides so only need 2 kids in pool and echoes a lot plus bar ar one end so no peace until music stops. in a scruffy suburb away from seafront .rooms not very clean..all rooms facing outwards have lousy views ,ours was a scrapyard.at back of taxi office. found a far better one at same price at corallia beach apartments stayed oct 2011
