“Great location and helpful staff”
Good points - the staff were, without exception, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and good value compared with other French hotels. The location of the hotel just around the corner from the Arc de Triomphe and the Charles de Gaulle Etoile Metro was ideal as it was easy to get to many of the main attractions from there. We had the family suite which was lovely and comfortable. We would stay there again. Downside - the toilet in the twin room was in a tiny cupboard of a room which was a little awkward. The rooms didn't have tea/coffee facilities, which would have been nice but you could have room service. Don't bother with food from room service which the hotel have to order in and which is a rip off.

I would definitely stay at the Balmoral again. The service was excellent and the location was just right for me. On the down side, the decor is very tired and the room was on the small side, the food (room service) was good quality but overpriced and served in plastic containers which I found unusual. However good service and location are the key to a successful stay for me and it has both.
“Charming hotel in a great location.”
We booked the last minute as we needed a place in Paris for one night after our stay in Disney. We had stayed at a nearby hotel earlier in the week. Balmoral was by far a better stay and was less expensive. The room was large and had a fantastic modern oversized bathroom. The room was bright and spacious thanks to the configuration. It didn't make a real difference to us but the bed was two twins pushed together. There was a comfortable roll away bed for our little ones. The free wifi was a bonus. Frontdesk and bellhop staff were welcoming and polite. Would highly recommend the hotel!
