“A Little Gem”
This hotel really is a little gem in the heart of Paris. The decor is modern and contemporary and the rooms are clean and well equipped. We will definitely be going back again soon!

Easy to book online. Reasonable rates. Central and convenient location in city and close to Auber metro station and some shopping outlets such as Printemp store. Modern facilities, very functional, very clean. Excellent service from front desk - helpful and good English. Also has luggage storage facility until 9pm of the checkout day. Definitely will use again. If you want an old charm, nostalgic type hotel, this is not the place for you. This is a super modern place, with showers, etc. Also, when making your booking, make sure that you specify exactly the number of guests, including children, who will be checking in. They were quite strict on this during checking. I had mistakenly omitted my 12 year old daughter during my booking assuming that I did not need to declare her but I had to pay a surcharge when I checked in with her, even though the room was large enough to also accommodate her.
“We love Paris and the Opal Hotel”
We loved the hotel. It is in a great location, close to lots of shopping, great bakerys, good resturants and the Metro. The front desk was very helpful in recovering our lost baggage (from the airlines) and helpful in directions. Our room was small but charming. The windows did a great job blocking out street traffic but could be noisy if the windows had to stay open (in hot weather).

Room was perfectly clean with amazing bath products. Small but to be expected in Paris. AC worked great and the bed was in good condition. Two minute walk to the Madeline metro station. Walking distance to the Louvre, Champs Elysees and Saint Honore shopping!! The service was very nice, but did not speak much english. However, we showed up early (our flight got in at 6:30 am on a Sunday) and they didn't have a room ready yet. So, they gave us a free breakfast which was not necessary. It was amazing.

I try to always stay at this place, I have stayed in many hotels now in Paris and I only found this one by accident. It's very well located, the rooms are excellent. P.S. Don't tell everyone, as I want a room for my next stay!!!
“Charming hotel in a great neighborhood, walk to Gallaries Lafayette, Metro Station is 1 block away”
This is a charming hotel located in the center of Paris. The neighborhood is the best. The rooms are decorated French style, and the hotel has many restaurants, sidewalk cafes, and shops within a 2 minute walk. The hotel staff all speak English and were very helpful for booking tours. The only downside was that our room was a bit noisy, it was facing the street and was on the second floor and we could hear traffic. Also, the elevator is tiny. But, overall it's a charming boutique hotel in a great neighborhood.

This hotel was ideally located for us, within easy walking distance to Laduree for wonderful pastries, coffee, hot chocolate and much more, the gardens, the Louvre, Rodin, etc. Desk staff speak English and are very helpful. New decor still keeps the charm but is clean, fresh and comfortable with air conditioning, bathroom with shower. With the window closed, it's quiet at night even though we're right in the city. We'll be back.

This is a small hotel in a great, if expensive, location. An excellent choice if you are visiting the City, provided you are not intent on spending too much time in the hotel - the rooms are small! Clement at reception knows a great bistro for dinner.
