“Great Hotel except for the pricey breakfast!!”
Hotel is well situated and within walking distance of the Louvre, Pompidou Centre, Bulvd Hussman and many attractions. We asked for and got a Courtyard room which was just as well as the hotel is situated on a very busy roundabout and junction in Paris so a roadside room would be very noisy. The interior is elegant and clean and the staff helpful. The only downside is the cost of breakfast if not included in your room rate is a staggering 25 euros. So for a family of 4 nearly £100 is a lot to pay for a few croissants and coffee. Instead we paid a visit to the local Carrefour city supermarket and brought items back into our hotel room - alternatively lots of cafes around the hotel if you wish to have breakfast. In all a great hotel to use as a base to explore this wonderful and beautiful city.
“A lovely weekend”
Getting to the hotel from the the Eurostar terminus was really easy and the hotel is well located with all the tourist attractions in easy reach. Staff were friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Breakfast is 25 Euro's for the all you can eat buffet which we felt was a bit high. However the bar does a continental breakfast for just under 10 Euro's. Would definitely use this hotel as a base again.
“Trip to Paris”
The staff at the hotel was always pleasant, helpful, and kind. We loved the big beds and the clean bathroom. When anyone of the staff were asked a question they always responded in a very helpful way. The messages delivered to our room by the manager was very impressive. We not only received a typed letter but also the message was printed on the television screen. We have traveled all over the world and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris!
“Perfect perfect stay!!”
I booked this hotel for my father and uncle and they came back raving about the hotel. They thought it was a perfect stay for them; very central to the city and very comfortable. I would like to personally thank the staff for making my family's stay there a memorable one!! I would definitely book at any Crowne Hotel from now on!!
“Great Holtel in great area, children are welcomed”
From the minute we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel welcome and the staff couldn't do enough for us. With two young children we sometimes find staff are a little uneasy around them, but thios wasn't the case here where they were spoken to and treated the same as all the other guests. The hotel is just a few yards away from the Metro station which is really handy, most of the landmarks within 10 minutes of leaving the hotel. It is situated in a very nice part of town and the noise levels were non existant through the night even though our room overlooked what in the day time was a rather busy street.
“5 night family break”
We booked a suite so that our 5 year old would have a seperate room to sleep in. Cannot fault the hotel or staff - we also had the best meals of our holiday in the hotel restaurant. The suite upgrade gave access to the Club Lounge - which served continental breakfast and also had tea, coffe, sooft drinks and beer available all day (no charge) and also access to a PC and printer - handy for on line check in and printing boarding cards. We stayed in this hotel some 16 years ago when it was a Holiday Inn - good then even better now.
“9 day vacation”
Spent eight nights at the Crowne Plaza Paris Republique and had an excellent experience. Staff was very freindly and accommodating. Paris Metro stop was a few hundred feet from the hotel entrance which made travel throughout the city a breeze. This was my first time in Paris and I was amazed at how easy it was to travel to all of the major sites using the Metro. Several restaurants and even fast food joints a short walk from the hotel. There was an excellent bakery around the corner. Taxi service to CDG Airport at 8 am was only 40 Euro (cash only). Would definately stay at this property again for all of the conveniences and excellent staff.
“Great near Metro location”
Great location about 200 feet from Metro Republique Station. Mini food store and bakery 1 1/2 blocks from hotel. Hotel was very soldily built and quiet at night. We were on a family trip to Paris but we also business people at the hotel. Our room location was on the top floor facing a large interior courtyard where we could not hear street traffic.
“Good, clean hotel”
On first impressions, very nice hotel, our room had two double beds, myself, husband and daughter, very comfortable, clean rooms. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, quite expensive, but very good quality, and also had breakfast, although we had to pay extra was nice, but everything is expensive in Paris! Good hotel!
“Fantastic!”
Great location. Very friendly staff. Beautiful room. Well worth it!
