“Great romantic trip to Paris”
Lovelly hotel right near a metro station and a short walk from Notre Dame. We paid a little extra for the superior room which was great, only downside I can think of was there was not a proper balcony, two doors opened to the middle of a fire exit in the centre of the building so no view at all but to be honest we didnt mind too much, the room was very comfortable, free champagne, chocolates, free minibar (soft drinks, water only). Was suprised that all this was thrown in the deal. Breakfast was great, there isnt much room in the little cellar but its still enjoyable and there were plenty of options. Overall very happy with our trip, would recommend this to anyone looking for a hotel in or near St Germain.
“great place to stay”
great hotel- fantastic position - we walked to Notre Dame (5-10 mins), Louve (maybe 20 mins) and Eiffel Tower (most far away, being about 45 minutes); helpful staff even if very french (no means no negotiation on things), but very professional; free gift on arrival was one glass of champagne at any stage during your stay when requested; breakfast was lovely and bonus later afternoon tea that would suffice for dinner if desired
“Exactly what I was looking for!”
My daughter and I stayed here July 21 - 25. The location was perfect - right by the Latin Quarter where there is so much going on and just a couple blocks from the Seine, Notre Dame, The Pantheon and the Sorbonne. The Louvre about a 20 minute walk. The room was very small - which I expected but we used it only for a place to sleep. Rooms were very clean and done up every day. Staff did not appear to be over friendly but there was not one question I asked over 5 days that they were not able to answer. All the desk staff spoke English and were helpful in every way. The only downfall was the room temp could not be brought below 22 degrees C. Thankfully Paris was not overly hot when we were there. If you don't need a big hotel room and you want to be close to the heart of Paris this would be a very good choice at a good price.
“Great experience”
We stayed in Paris a mere 24 hours to break up a trip from Russia back to the States. The hotel was great, the staff were helpful, and the location is superb.
“Best little hotel value in Paris”
I hesitate giving the real truth about this hotel because it has been my secret hotel location for years, but because I believe it is the best value in Paris and they have given me years of good service, very clean and comfortable rooms, I must thank them for this. The Belloy St-Germain is in my opinion the best value in Paris and I have stayed in many other hotels there.
“Great Location”
The hotel was fine, comfortable with a Honor Bar, which I thought was a nice touch. A conference I was attending was handing out an official Paris restaurant guide, Paris Gourmand. A beautiful and recently restored Art Nouveau restaurant, Le Bouillon Racine, turned out to be across the street. Another excellent restaurant, Balzar at 49, rue des Ecoles, was a block away.
“A Parisian Gem”
We spent some considerable time choosing a hotel in the St.Germain area of Paris and were not disappointed with the one we eventually picked. The location could not have been better, being within easy reach of many attractions and a metro station for easy access to the remaining attractions that were not within walking distance. The area of St Germain was vibrant with many restaurants to chose from. The staff on reception were polite, helpfull and friendly. The room was well decorated and although a little small perfectly adequate for our needs. Our only criticism was that we only stayed one night so did not have a problem, but if one were staying longer the shortage of wardrobe space could be a drawback. Also a shower curtain would be an advantage to prevent a flooded bathroom floor.
“"Great Location...super breadfast buffet"”
Belloy St. Germain was a friendly and helpful accomodation. Our luggage was delayed by the airline but the hotel watched for it coming. It arrived after one in the morning, so the attendant kept it safe until morning, rather than waking us in the middle of the night...very thoughtful. Breakfast each morning was more than ample for both my husband and me. Our room was cared for daily and the hotel provided us with anything we needed. The Belloy is centrally located in the Latin Quarter and easy to travel from to all the sights. Thank you to all of the staff of the Belloy. We would, without doubt stay at the Belloy St. Germain again.
“GREAT HOTEL AND LOCATION”
My partner and I stayed here for my 50th Birthday for 5 days in November. We chose the hotel from previous reviews and were not disappointed. The room was great, small but this is Paris after all. Great location, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. Would happily stay here again and would definately recommend the hotel.
“great location, lovely atmosphere”
Clean room, friendly service, breakfast a bit overpriced and just ok. Location, location, location! Close to Metro too. We had a very comfortable room, 3 twin beds, & 2 balcony windows.
