“Clean, Modern, Great Location to Metro, Would Return”

Receptionist very helpful on arrival, arrived at 11am, she did her best to check us in as early as possible (check in time is 3pm) we were checked into our room at 12pm, very happy with that. We were Impressed with the double room we had, it was spacious which is hard to find for hotel rooms in Paris. The room was very modern and clean. Hotel is in a good location, only one block from the metro and only 5-10 minute walk to a main station Gare du Nord. breakfast was well priced with a good selcetion of food.

Hotel was renovated in 2008, so is clean, modern/minimalist decor, and quiet even on the street side. The area is cleaner/safer than I expected for so near a mainline station, and although the street is quiet, I felt fine as a lone female walking down it at night (ie: no dodgy people around!). Bathroom was clean and modern, with a large-headed shower + separate handheld attachment, although on the small side - the wall and door was frosted glass, which doesn't give 100% privacy, so it wouldn't be my choice for a romantic weekend(!), but I was happy being by myself there. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but the small restaurant looked fine - it's on the ground floor, not tucked away in the basement as so many are. There are cafes 5 mins walk away down the rue Lafayette towards Opera. Easy walk to the Gare du Nord if your luggage isn't difficult, otherwise you can get a bus from the rue Lafayette, it must only be about 2 stops.

“Contemporary chic on a budget”

I stayed 2 nights here with an 11-year-old and we were both very pleased with our choice. Low-key but very friendly staff gave excellent service in this newly renovated and nicely finished hotel on a quiet street a ten minute walk from the Gare du Nord.

“Surprisingly nice”

We picked this place because the description said it was new. Turns out it is and very nice as well. A bit of a haul walking from Gare du Nord but not too bad. No internet in the rooms but ultimately quite convenient with great people working there.

“Small room but good hotel”

Very small room, but manageable for a 2 night stay. The bathroom was tiny and the sink completely impractical, and some people might be put off by there being a curtain instead of a bathroom door, but I guess it saves space! The shower space was huge compared to the rest of the bathroom! Very clean and comfortable, would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. If I were planning to stay for more than 2 nights, I'd enquire about the possibility of a larger room. Booked a 'romantic' room in the Eurostars hotel in Porto (Portugal) a few years back and it was probably 3 times the size of the one we had in Paris. But apart from that the hotel was clean, staff friendly and location was great.

“NIce Clean Hotel”

8 mins walk from gare de nord, hotel very clean and tidy. We can see the eiffel tower from our room! The only one thing is that the bathroom light turns off automatically every 2 mins,unless u stand right under the sensor. Which is between the sink and shower,so basically u have to keep waving your hand while you are brushing your teeth, or having a shower....otherwise, a very nice hotel.

“Extremely satisfied with hotel and location”

Great rooms - not too small and it was very clean. Hotel staff were polite. Walking distance to Gare du Nord. Half an hour walk to the Louve or 15 - 20 mins to Sacre Coeur. close to places to eat and drink as well. Highly recommend this hotel
