The staff is very helpful, it was a very comfortable stay. The room was a good size and it came with a kettle which is important for me who much prefers hot water in the winter. 😀 There's a lot of options for public transport but all of them will involve about 10 minutes walk (much like everything else in Paris) it's on the quiet side of the city so there's less food option and most attractions will require a train or bus ride. there's a handful of cafe and sandwich shops so you won't go hungry. I can see how someone might think the shower is small but I'm the type that don't expect a long relaxing bath while on vacation (I spend most my time out anyways) so it worked for quick showers. Sounds proofing wasn't the best, but not worst than most other hotels. All in all it provides a nice place for me to rest up after a long day of going around town.

Lobby doesn't have seating/resting area. The receptionist (when I check-in) was not friendly and did not provide any hotel's information. Others receptionist were helpful for directions info. People smoke at the front doors instead of the side's.

Pleasant stay..
Wasn’t the my 1st time at that hotel, believe it won’t be the last. Located in bercy village a nice cozy area at the center of Paris. Staff are nice and helpful, room although on the smaller side but was clean, breakfast was tasty and generous.

The property is close to the metro and as advertised. The value for the money was good too. The only small issue was that there were no wash cloths offered or even handle towels to guests so bring your own.

Really comfortable room and very helpful/friendly staff. The bathroom was a little small and there wasn't much room to hang towels/clothes, but apart from that everything was great.

Very close to Accor Arena Front desk people very friendly and nice. I didn't like the breakfast. Servers very aggressive and not polite. We paid for full breakfast for 5 consecutive days, even 1 hr before the closing time, there was no more orange juice, sometimes no croissants. This along with the not nice servers added to our disappointment on the hotel

We met three members of staff, two of which were delightful, however one of the staff members was rude and patronising towards me and my partner. Shower and sink holes did not drain until a while later, when we asked the rude member of staff if this could be sorted, he said it would be sorted and the issue was not sorted until two days later when we asked another member of staff, whom got it sorted within the short period of time we were out. The shower doors were broken and repetitively allowed water to spray all over the floor. The shower kept changing from boiling hot to freezing cold after a day or so into our stay.

Budget hotel that punches above its weight
At the price I wasn't expecting 4* luxury and that was fine. The room was small and the aircon noisy but the breakfast was great. There was a wide choice - cereals, nice bread, fruit, yogurts, waffles, pancakes, meat and cheese. I wasn't expecting hot food but we had frankfurters and scrambled eggs. I've stayed in many French hotels and long ago came to the conclusion that the French can't make scrambled eggs. The Campanile proved me wrong. They were excellent. Coffee and juice were from a machine. The croissants deserve a special mention as they were excellent. The staff were really on the ball and as things ran out they were replenished quickly. There's a little bar which shuts at midnight. Our barmaid was very friendly. There was a problem with our shower enclosure. I didn't expect anything done while we were there but no, the repairman came. The location is excellent. Just round the corner is Bercy Village, the park and a metro station. The river is less than 10 minutes away. We had a great time.
