“Amazing stay in Paris”
This hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in in the world!! The staff here is unlike any other. They were all so kind, accommodating, and helpful. I have never experienced such high levels of customer service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris. I can't wait to go back.
“Great Hotel”
We liked this hotel very much. We booked at the last minute and were very pleased with our choice. The decor is very, very modern. The hotel is very clean. The hotel staff is superb--they were friendly, accomodating and professional. We were tourists in Paris so during our stay we needed assistance with sightseeing, restaurant reservations etc. The staff was very helpful in accomodating all of our requests. The hotel is about a two minute walk to the Metro entrance which was very, very convenient. At night time if you walk up the street you can see both the Arc De Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower- a very cool sight. Our room faced the street at the front of the hotel. It was very quiet. The room was very clean. The room decor is very modern but comfortable. Note, that up the street there is a McDonalds which turned out to be a good place to get a "take out" coffee in the morning--Paris does not have many "take out" locations so it was a great convenience to grab a quick cup of coffee. One other tip-do NOT take the AF bus to the hotel. The good news about the bus is that it drops you about two blocks from the hotel-the bad news is that the traffic going into Paris is horrific. We live very close to NYC so we are used to heavy traffic. The rush hour traffic we encountered going into Paris equalled the traffic in NYC. Take the train if you are arriving at rush hour. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we have an opportunity to return to Paris.
“Great new hotel in Paris!”
From our previous experiences in France, we were not expecting nothing outstanding even for a 5 star hotel. However, the Renaissance hotel is not only a beautiful modern facility, bu talso has a great location to get around Paris. Rooms are very nice, modern and comfortable and the service is very professional. The bathrooms are very well kept and our stay simply confirmed the good previous reviews from other Expedia fellow travelers. The only downside is the extremely expensive breakfast (although with a good variety, 28 euros for full breakfast seems excessive). However, there are many options to have a nice, cheaper breakfast near the hotel. This is a true find in Paris and a great option for a very comfortable stay!
“The Best”
We booked this hotel on Expedia, since it was rated a "4.8". This is unfairly low. I would rate this hotel, opened in May 2009, as a "5.0". The staff there treat you as royalty. The check in process was lightening fast. They went out of their way to open every door upon entering and exiting the property. We received excellent assistance at the business center, as we were able to confirm and book our boarding passes for the return home. Every question we had was answered politely and with English spoken just like in the US. The location is fantastic, with 2 metro stations being short walks. Great budget restaurant just down 2 blocks. The room was spacious by any measure. Very modern furniture and roomy bathroom/shower exuding luxury. You won't be disappointed if you choose this hotel.
“Will go back again”
Great location. Hotel staff is polite and helpful. Room is clean.
“Delighted”
Paris by itself is wonderful, but staying at Renaissance made our stay even more charming. Perfectly located, modern and clean, we loved everything about it. It was worth getting the breakfast included in the price, it was a very complete buffet. I´d definitely go back.
“Perfect location, great service and many nearby restaurants.”
The hotel is modern, the rooms look new and the service is great. Very close to the hotel you have many food options and places to have a Drink. From the three star Guy Savoy , the excellent Italian food at Cesars (at a reasonable price) or McDonalds. All reachable with a short walk. You also have close access to two Metro stations so you can be in minutes in another place in Paris. The location, all the food options plus the modern rooms makes this hotel a perfect destination. The only thing I did not like was the internet access prices and the cost of the drinks at their lobby, however all that is standard in Paris 4-5 star hotels, the drinks are not cheap and the internet is abusively expensive in almost all European hotels. The good thing is that you can eat or have a drink on a good nearby café or restaurant at a more reasonable price..
“Excellent central Paris Hotel”
Check in staff were first class, the room was excellent, the location was within walking distance of the city centre and surrounded by a good choice of eating places.
“A " Triomphe" in Paris”
Do not be put off by the uninspired reception hall, the rooms are spacious, they are clean, the beds are out of this world and the personnel helpful and available 24/7.The location steps away from the Arc du Triomphe and Metro lines is ideal.I will certainly stay there again next September.
“Fantastic hotel in a great location”
We had a fantastic stay at the Renaissance. The hotel was modern and clean and the room had everything that we needed. It was spacious with lovely decoration making it a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. We asked for a room on a high floor and had a beautiful view across the roof tops of Paris from our balcony. We didn't eat at the hotel but there are plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby as well as lots of places to get breakfast so that wasn't a problem. The metro is just at the bottom of the road so it is really easy to get to the hotel from the airport/train station. We actually didn't use the metro other than to get to and from the hotel. The Renaissance is a great location for those who want to walk between the main tourist attractions. The staff were also fantastic. Very helpful and they provided great service. Their English was also excellent which made it very easy to communicate for non French speakers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a top quality hotel in a great location.
