“Comfortable and clean”
The hotel was well placed and comfortable and the room was great. Good value for money. There is only one person on duty which meant we could not get in when we arrived as he was upstairs and we panicked a little but he was apologetic. He insisted that I go and get cash for my airport shuttle reservation (which turned out to have been prior booked, but he did not check our reservation details) and though he helped my 13 year old daughter to put the cases in the lift, she was left to get them out on her own while I was gone. This is my only complaint - breakfast was good and the hotel is otherwise very nice.
“Paris is a must see!”
great location, lovely staff. enjoyed our stay there, however the only down side of the hotel is the cleaniness. all was clean but should pay a bit more attention. otherwise i would still recommend this hotel
“Perfect location, just a tiny room but sufficient”
Tiny room but location is perfect. In between two very close metro stations, one of which is in the red light district but the other metro is perfect and only 3 stops away from the centre. The room was small but had a nice modern bathroom and the hotel staff were very nice. Great price for location.
“definitely recommendable”
perfectly situated hotel in a side street, around the corner from sacrecoer, parking garage around the corner
“It was as good as we expected”
It was pretty good and comfortable stay in Paris. During the whole week we never used any public transportation but hop on hop off buses. The hotel is close enough to walk to all main attractions. Complimentary breakfast was nice. I only wish that the room would be larger, but it was very good for the price.
“Should be noted”
Although this hotel suited our purposes - namely to be in Paris the next morning to catch a train south -, and was clean and friendly, it should be noted that this is Paris's 'red light' district. My six year old daughter was quite impressed with how nice "all the ladies" were, each one wishing me a "bonjour Monsieur" as we walked by .
“Pleasant spacious Paris place”
The hotel is a typical Paris building six floors high. The room are spacious for a hotel this price. Breakfast in held in a charming vaulted cave. Staff is helpful. Good value for the money. A well-priced three star.
“good hotel, good service”
This hotel is 2 blocks from the red light district but the street it is in was very good with some really nice speciality shops among some good pubs for eating. I would stay here again. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were small, but clean and the breakfast was not great but if included in the price as ours was, it was satisfactory.
“Dated”
This hotel has not been redecorated since the 1970's, so the rooms are a little worn. However, the staff were helpful, and the location is good for the price- great for those who like to walk, and close to a Metro (subway) station for those who don't, It is a few blocks from Place Pigalle, which is a bit of a red light district, but I was never bothered as a result. One upside of the hotel being older is that the rooms are a little bigger... which means small, but not microscopic. Rooms were basically clean - clean sheets, etc, but because of the wear and tear a little stained here and there. Rooms on the street side, although fitted with double pane windows, are a little noisy... which I ike, but if you don't, go for the back side. There are some very good restaurants in the area...but then this is Paris, so that's true most places.
