Not a 4 Star property & should not charge tax like it is. This is a small, old boutique hotel with 2 small elevators. Clean. Stayed in an (overpriced) Executive Room that was very small & dusty when we first arrived, but having a love seat made a difference. We had a pleasant 5 day stay during January (New Year’s) sojourn despite the issue of the strong sewer odor from the shower drain. The room smelled like rotten eggs for the duration of our stay. Heat was adequate but noise insulation is non-existent. We could hear the guests from the room above & below us. One night a couple was having a very loud fight & we were forced to call the front desk. Also, the spa is only open 17:00-21:00 daily — what a let down. The sauna & steam room should be open during the day or at least until 22:00. We enjoyed the plush towels, cozy robes & slippers, the comfy bed & a selection of 3 different pillows. In a fairly safe neighborhood, 8 minutes walk to Metro & there’s a bus stop in front of hotel, lots of restaurants & there’s a supermarket across the street. Note, there are a few homeless people camped near the hotel & some nights felt a little unsafe. Would be careful staying here in the summer months (consider AC & they don’t have an ice machine).

This is a hidden gem in Paris. Looks like a typical Parisian little hotel but the rooma are beautiful. They are super modern and the location is ideal. There is a small supermarket across the road and plenty of places to eat. The Charles de Gaulle Etoille metro is a short walk away which links you everywhere! The Arc de Triumph is also a short walk away and the Eiffel Tower. Very clean rooms and super spacious. We had an amazing time and would definitely book again next time we go to Paris!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean and well located. One thing is that the shower does not have a door and ir was difficult for me to take a quick shower instead of a bath. Also; sometimes I went out and came back after many hours and my room was still not cleaned. But in general the hotel is very clean and my room was impecable when I came in. Nice little hotel. The staff makes the difference!! Everyone was very nice!!

We loved our stay at La Villa Maillot. The rooms are spacious, especially for European standards. The front desk staff are friendly and the housekeeping is amazing! Our room was always cleaned immaculately! Only downside, on our last morning, we were having breakfast downstairs and sharing memories of our trip to Disneyland the day before, and a staff remember scolding us telling us to “SILENCE!” And hushed us and told us we were being disruptive to other guests. We were the only ones in the breakfast room! We are not eating in a library! That gentlemen needs to learn some manners.

The room was very clean and had a great view of the city from the top floor. The foldout sofa bed was perfect for our two kids and the master bed was a short hall away, so offered privacy without having to be two separate rooms. Loved the stay. Very friendly staff. Metro right around the corner and a ten minute walk to the arc de triomphe.

Under refurbishment and bad service.
Hotel is under refurbishment, which was not mentioned; i would not have booked had i known. Dust everywhere, half the lobby closed off, elevators dirty from workers, cannot reach reception from room phone as it's defective, and worst of all, even when you put the sign do not enter on the room door, the cleaning staff just open the door and come in as if they are blind and do not care (happened more than once in 3 days), zero privacy and unacceptable.

Loved staying here. The room was nice and big and it was always lovely and warm which was nice to come back to after being out walking in the cold all day! The staff were really friendly as well. The only issue I had was that when I tried to order room service, even though I rang multiple times, no one ever answered and I had to go to the restaurant next door myself.

Mmm had read the reviews was in 2 minds. The room quality and decor 10/10. Service was the worst ever. Felt unwelcome and asked for map was slammed on desk and staff appeared evasive. Not to mention no hot water to run a bath on my first night. The spa was a joke.

It was great BUT there was a big hot water issue. Shower was cold after 9AM which, IMHO, is unacceptable, particularly for a 4 stars hotel.

Nice little boutique hotel in a very convenient location. Close to Metro and walkable to the Arch de Triomphe. The room interior is also very pleasant. Highly recommended.

I loved everything about La Villa Maillot! The staff was tremendous, the room was perfect - the bathroom was a dream! I loved all the little details, I loved all the little cafes nearby, the decor throughout, the view... I can go on and on! Would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone. Two little things; the room keys tended to demagnetize often which, whatever, I had to go to the front desk to get new keys a few times - but one evening, quite late, another party in another room came back and when their key didn't work they pounded on the door and yelled at their partner to wake up and let them in instead of going to the front desk. Not ideal to wake up to. :) And there was only decaf coffee pods in the room and I never bothered to call to get regular so that's on me I guess.

If you are a gold member, not sure you will get...
The two issues i was very unplwase for were 1. Was demanding my additional two hrs. late checkout while the stuff was tfy to avoud it. 2.Althogh I presented I am a gold member level of hotels.com, and presented a printed doc. That i am entiteld to free alcohol bottle, I didnot had it. The hotel refused to provide it.

Excellent stay but bad Wifi
Excellent bed and quiet room! Kind staff and welcome touches were highly appreciated. I had a great stay. However, the Wifi never worked for me on my laptop as it's not a secured one (it is accessible to anyone) which was quite annoying as I was there for business. It would also have been nice to refill the coffee pods and toiletry set as I was there for two nights. I skipped the overpriced breakfast, 28 EUR is really exaggerated.
