“Good Hotel”
As a first time visitor to Paris this hotel provided a great location not far from the Arc de Triomphe and within walking distance of all the tourist attractions. The hotel and rooms (although relatively small) were modern and clean. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay; all speaking good english yet never making us feel uncomfortable or foolish with our attempts to speak french. I would definately recommend this hotel.
“Perfect for our needs”
Small but smart hotel close to the Arc De Triomphe. Perfect for just spending the night, but not if you're looking for additional leisure facilities.

This hotel was in an ideal location for us - near the congress centre and not too far from town (15-20mins by metro), just in front of the Arc du Triomphe. After much internet research this hotel lived up to its reputation with v helpful friendly staff and a reasonably sized room (despite others comments) with free wifi and a kettle which is not always available in hotels. The bus from Gard du Nord stops right outside the hotel (no 43) or just a few minutes away (no 30) and there are plenty of brasseries and bakers near by for food. Didnt try the hotel's (expensive) breakfast as it was not necessary. The hotel was also remarkably quiet (no slamming doors) with good double glazing. The room is as the photos show with a shower/sink area with no door. The toilet is separate. Complimentary water was also provided each day in the cooler, so despite the price for the room, I'd thoroughly recommend it.

The only real downfall of the hotel would be that the toilet needs a proper door rather than a curtain type door.
“A great little place to stay”
This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff freindly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and we would definately recommend it for a short stay.

“Good Stay”
Had a very pleasant stay at this clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Bathroom was very close to the bed with just a curtain across the door, so I was glad I didn't share my room. Very close to the Arc de Triomphe, about 5 minutes on foot.
“Mercure line is terrible!”
The airconditioning didn't work and the attendant tried to tell us that it was how the system worked after we had turned it on 5 hours earlier. Thank God it was in the 50s outside so we slept with the window open. The elevator, room, etc. are very small!!!!!! Stick to American lines when in Europe!!!!
