“Perfect for family and travelling by train”
Great Hotel to stay with family. A little bit distant from the greatest points of Paris, but the metro is around the courner. And if you are going to travel by train, like us, is perfect.
“Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location”
My mom and I (college student) recently stayed in this hotel on our first trip to Paris! The staff was very helpful with helping us to navigate to the landmarks through the subway, bus, or through various tours. The room was fantastic, and the breakfast and room service were great! Lots of delicious restaurants in the area, too. Would recommend 100%.

“Highly recommend”
All facilities were in very good order plus they are currently being upgraded. Even though there was work going on in the hotel this was kept to a minimum and did not effect our stay at all. Great family play room with X-box, TV etc close to lounge area. Pool area very well maintained. Staff were extremely helpful. Highly recommend.
“Paris visit in January”
Nice Hotel, in a great location . 1 min from a metro station and 2 min from Gare de Lyone . It is a good one hour walk to the Louvre along the river, easy to find, Lots of good little restaurants around the corner, in walking distance, supermarkets at 3 to 4 min walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.
“Excellent hotel”
We were given a warm welcome by reception staff and checked into our room very quickly. all staff were friendly efficient & polite. Alexandra serving in the restaurant was very charming. The hotel was very clean and our room very comfortable. the facilities were excellent and the location good. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay here again. Thankyou for making our stay such a pleasant one.

Great location, great price. Everything you might need or want. We were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't noisy, given the proximity to the train station. Have already recommended to others and would definitely stay here again.
“Good value family hotel in convenient location”
We stayed as a family (2 adults, 2 children) at Novotel Gare de Lyon and were very happy with our choice. The room isn't big with both sofabeds extended but that was fine for sleeping and we closed them up once out of bed so the room was then perfectly adequate. We even had a small view of the station and beyond to the top of Eiffel tower! The hotel is pretty well located and the area had lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. We would head out during the day to see the sights, which were easily accessed via the Metro or RER from GdL and then come back at around 5 or 6pm for a swim in the small but quite nice pool, which the kids loved and it gave us time to re-energise before going out for dinner locally. We had a good guide book that took us to some good restaurants in the area. L'Encrier was nice. We ordered the wrong thing at the Morroccan restaurant we went to not far from L'Encrier the next night (Tagine was much too meaty and no cous cous!) Hotel reception staff were ok - not too efficient, but breakfast was good with lots of efficient service. Kids eat breakfast for free if parents eat so that made 16euros for breakfast more palatable. I would recommend the hotel: It was cheaper than lots of others much closer to the centre of Paris but was easy to travel to and from. We had a fun w/e.

Great hotel, convenient connection to sights of Paris from Gare du Lyon station close by and good facilities for kids (swimming pool and games room).
“Great Choice for Families”
We had a great two days in Paris at the Novetel Hotel. The breakfast was great and they had a lady painting children's faces and keeping them entertained while the parents enjoyed their espresso or cappucino. The swimming pool was a really nice touch when returning from a busy day of sight seeing. Location was ideal because it was a two minute walk to the Subway (Metro) station. We will be returning to this hotel in the future.
