“Great Location!”
It is s decent hotel for this price. You cannot beat location: walking distance to the Louvre museum, Notre Dame de Paris, etc.
“Europe 2010”
The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was well designed and had plenty of space and comfort. Very, very convenient to main thoroughfare of Paris. Not a 15 minute walk to The Louvre. Only downside: even if you reserved a non-smoking room, others on the same floor may be smoking; smell tends to meander into the halls and other rooms.
“Been back a few times”
I like this hotel. It's clean and quite basic, but most hotels in Paris are. The shower was a bit small, but the staff are friendly and the location is great.
“Good budget hotel”
Room and furnishings were old, but were clean and bed was comfortable. The high pressure hot shower was great as well. Room and foyer were nothing to write home about, but were good value for the price. The location of this hotel is the main selling point, right near the Les Halles train station and with heaps of restaurants and shops just downstairs. Staff were lovely and very helpful and spoke good English.
“Small but superbly located”
The hotel rooms are small but they are clean and contain what you need. Location is superb for the cost. Free wi-fi is excellent.
“only if you need to be close to the metro”
we were coming in from Lyon and just needed a hotel for the night before our flight out the next day. for this reason it was great - very convenient to chatelet-le halles metro. otherwise, a bit dark, lumpy bed. would not stay again unless we needed the same convenience.
“Not the happiest customer”
As a regular visitor to Paris, I went for this as a 3start with included wifi. Central situation good for Chatelet RER and metro and choice of nearby restaurants, as well as downtown Paris . Wifi was fine. However Room 101 was disappointingly small and I could hear conversations clearly in a nearby room. The wardrobe was so small that shirts and jacket were too long and did not fit.! It must have been put there withe either children or very small people in mind. Shower cubicle was also very small. General room decort was shabby and could do with some work. Staff pleasant enough. Paris Hotels are expensive for what you get in comparison with other cities, but this was more of a 2star than the advertised 3star. There are many better and also worse ...
“Never again”
I have no idea how they managed to receive three stars. The room is extremely small as well as the bed and the shower cabin. The furniture is partly broken. No cups or kettle. We succeeded to get a kettle from the reception, but no cups. The refrigerator does not function. To get the key from the safe you need to pay extra money. But what was the worst is the permanent noise at the street: throughout the night even with the closed window it was almost impossible to sleep. Overall – never again.
“does not deserve 3 stars. One only.”
Location was great, but hotel DOES NOT deserve the 3 stars at all. We would give it a one star. It was dirty, and many things were broken. Also, it was listed as non-smoking but there were ashtrays in the room, and it smelled bad.
