“Good location”

Ideally placed ! 1 metro line from Eurostar so easy to get to, and then we could walk to all actractions from the front door. It is a 'no frills' hotel but for the price we were well happy. yes the lift was small but its better than stairs. Our only little letdown was the traffic noise but everything else made this a small inconvenience we could cope with

“Very basic room in a great location”

For being located in the left bank of Paris so close to so much, this was a great find. It was not a two star hotel though. Very basic and meets your needs if all you want is location and a room with a shower.

“Great service, but poor hotel condition”

Strengths: The staff at this hotel was very nice and accommodating. Nayla, in particular, went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. They assisted with information on how to get places, taxi cab bookings, pricing on certain tourist locations, etc. Our room didn’t have a fan, and they allowed us to use the one they had in the lobby during our stay. Also, the day we were leaving to the train station, they allowed us to remain in the lobby (playing cards, etc) and use a bathroom for many hours. The hotel is in a great location, just a few blocks from The Louvre. It’s also about a 5-8 minute walk to the metro and has a post office about ½ block away. Weaknesses: The room is very “seedy”. It’s old and poorly decorated. The beds were lumpy and the bedding looked old. The first night I was there I almost expected to see mice and roaches all over the place. I was awake all night. The next day I realized the place looked old but was clean. On one occasion the bathroom light went out and they didn’t have a replacement bulb. They gave us a spare lamp to plug into the wall in the meantime. However, this lamp didn’t work so we had to use the bathroom in the dark for a day or two. There was initially no fan in the room and the TV rarely worked. In order for it to work, all the lights had to be turned off, but that didn’t always work either in terms of getting TV to turn on. Despite the wonderful service, we are unlikely to stay here again.

“Very dissapointing hotel”

From the website the hotel sounded affordable and of good standard. When we arrived at the hotel our room was not ready, we were then given a key to a different room and when we opened the door the room was a mess. We were then told to wait a while for a room to be cleaned. Several hours later the room was ready but sheets were not changed and the floor and bathroom was still dirty. The hotel concierge did not care at all. The beds (I am 5 ft 11) were absolutely tiny and my feet stuck out the end as well as a very sunken mattress. Overall the hotel was very dissapointing and certainly would not stay there again. It is advertised as a 3 star hotel but I would not give it more than 1 as I have stayed in far nicer 3 star hotels.

“To be Avoided”

Paris its usual wonderful self and location of hotel excellent. Hotel itself was dreadful and would certainly never go near it again. Staff unhelpful and indifferent. Hotel grotty and uncomfortable. A Rip Off.
