“Nice Hotel”
The hotel was very nice. Like other hotels I've stayed in in Europe, the rooms are small, but it was clean. They are located about 5 blocks from the Gare de Lyon, so if you are travelling with lots of luggage, you should be prepared for a walk. The breakfast was expensive at 9 Euros per person.
“My prefered one in Paris”
This hotel is a very good place to stay, be it one night or one week. Friendly, helpful staff and the hotel not in a traditional tourist area of the city. Thus, prices for food and drinks are lower than at tourists "spots".
“Small but Neat”
Smallish room; especially bathroom and restroom were tiny. Convenient location, fairly quiet, balcony with some view of Paris. Free internet access provided upon request, but only available to one device per guest (so make you your mind whether you want to have access for your phone or your laptop). Would use this hotel again anytime.
“Better than I expected”
I read some of the other reviews prior to booking and was a bit nervous about staying here but really needed to be in this area. I was pleasantly surprised to find the room to be very nice, street sounds weren't a problem even though I was in a street facing room (not a lot traffic) and the staff were very friendly. French hotel rooms are always much smaller than the typical American hotels, so don't expect big anywhere. My room was actually bigger than the average rooms I've stayed in at other similarly priced hotels although they might also have smaller rooms available, too. All in all, it's not a posh hotel by any stretch but I would certainly stay there again without hesitation. They do have free WIFI, which a lot of hotels don't have and they also had a pretty big flat screen tv in our room rather than one of those micro tv sets from the 90's. And, it's clean.
“Ok, but...”
The room was clean, but small, fine for one night. The staff was friendly. My only real complaint was that it is a good distance away from the main atrractions in Paris.
“Reasonable”
Good comfortable room - although not really catering for an adult and child. Superior bathroom - room let down by quality of beds and pillows. Bedroom could do with a mirror - for teenage daughter - although there was a full length one between rooms. Good location near the Gare de Lyon.
“Its just okay”
The hotel room is small but clean. However, the problem in my room is that the room is in the top floor and the distance from the bathtub to the roof is very short and I couldn't stand up in the bathtub for shower (I am just 5 foot 2 inch tall). That was reaaly inconvenient!!
“Pleasantly surprised. Hats off to the cleaning staff”
.It would be an added bonus to have coffee/tea facilities especially for each morning. There was no facility to obtain ice to keep drinks cold. The fridge was not working in our room. There was no spare one anywhere in the Hotel. A few more TV channels would add more variety for night time viewing (only CNN)
“Decent for the Money”
We stayed here just to break up our train ride from Normandy to the south, it was a good hotel for the purpose. All that we needed was a bed. It wasn't the cleanest place in the world and I wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay, it's also not as close to the train station as I thought, it was like a 10-15 minute walk, so I was lost looking for something right next to the station. Not terrible though.
