“Good for 2 star”
Convenient for town centre, restaurants, railway station, buses. The parking is secure at 10 euros for 24 hours.
“Absolutely excellent!”
An excellent hotel. The staff on reception were extremely helpful, particularly as we needed to change some elements of our booking at short notice. The room was well up to expectations, and breakfast offered a wide range of options which were very ednjoyable. Altogether an excellent experience & extremely good value. We shall doubtless return!
“Modern, clean, well run hotel convenient for the centre of Arras.”
The hotel was modern, clean and welcoming. Staff friendly and helpful, bedroom comfortable, pleasant bar, good breakfast and the location is convenient for the centre of Arras being about 5 minutes walk away. The hotel also provides free wifi and benefits from a secure car park next door. Having booked ahead with Expedia, we got a good rate and were pleased with the value for money. We really enjoyed our short stay and would happily go back.
“A Few Days In Arras - good hotel base”
A few problems on arrival as the receptionist had very little English. Luckily I had brushed up on my French! Was a little worried when I booked as I saw it was near the main railway station - but there were no problems with any noise. Room was comfortable, clean and well-maintained. The buffet breakfast was expensive at 14Euros so we opted for the 'Express' for 7Euros on a couple of the mornings (orange juice, coffee,croissant, pastry, roll - quite adequate). Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main squares - and plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. Parking underground was fine at 9Euros a day - but during the stay I happened to leave my car in the car park from Saturday evening until Monday morning and was still only charged 9Euros. Would use the hotel again if visiting the area (good access to Lille, Amiens, etc.)
“Not impressed, but suitable for one night stopover.”
Upon arrival we were told that although we had booked a double room there were only twin beds available, but that we could push them together, which clearly isn't the same thing! This wasn't even possible as there was a side table attached to the wall between the two beds! And secondly we booked a non-smoking room and were put on the only smoking floor in the hotel and were told that the window had been left open all day so there wouldn't be a smell, but of course there was since smoke seeps into everything. Apart from all the bad news on arrival, the hotel was clean, basic and about a 10-15 min walk from the town square. Not a location I would return to necessarily, not a lot to see, but it served as a handy stopover on our drive around France.
