“First rate”
The hotel and rooms were immaculate, pool area superb and staff first rate, and the beds were actually comfortable, which seems to be uncommon in Thailand.
“Christmas 2011 in Pattaya”
Overall a fantastic hotel. I dont think I have met staff that were so attentive, friendly and helpful, especially with my need for my ice pack to be frozen 2 or 3 times a day. Great pool area, although perhaps not enough sun loungers....? Wi Fi area pretty small and then got smaller when the Ice Bar was closed due to 4 day Indian wedding celebrations. I still dont understand why top hotels charge for Wi Fi.. Great breakfast, a little disappointed by the selection of room service, but what I did order was top quality!!
“Disappointing and would not return”
Very disappointed as I had high expectations after reading the reviews on this site. I stayed in a Garden Terrace room on the 3rd floor (accessible only by stairs), the room was very old and tired, in need of decorating as the doors were chipped and there were scuff marks and chips over the furniture. I requested a king size bed, only to discover this means two single beds put together and made up to look like a king. It made for very uncomfortable sleep. The bathroom was also very old and in need of rennovation. The rub/shower combination did not feel clean at all. Aside from this, the hotel staff were great. There is free wifi in the lobby, but paid for in the rooms and other communal areas. The pool was good albeit quite small and during the afternoons it was impossible to find vacant sun loungers. I would not recommend this hotel and would sooner pay a little more and stay at one of the more renowned hotel brands.
