“best hotel in philadelphia”
this hotel is not on of the high rise plazas. it has a small entrance and a very private feel to it. the staff is helpful and up for a little chitchat in between. greates area and wonderful rooms (ask for a newly renowated room). since there are many "rittenhouse" hotels you have to let the cap driver precisely know which hotel you want to go to.
“A treasure in Philadelphia”
I love this hotel. Perfect location, great rooms, wonderful breakfast included, very nice staff. It feels very European. Very comfortable, on a nice quiet street. I'll definitely return.
“A real unexpected treat.”
This is a really nice hotel with a great location and breakfast. I had a simulated fireplace in my room that served as a nice night light. Great TV, Bed, Shower. I would stay there again...nicer than the Rittenhouse Hotel across the square.
“WOW!!”
What a huge treat! everything was better than we expected, and we were expecting a really outstanding experience. We have walked past the Rittenhouse on many occasions, and were quite taken with its "curb appeal". Getting to stay in a room was totally wonderful! Our room had a fireplace, set in a wall of bookshelves, with books, and truly lovely furniture. Couldn't have been a whole lot more pleased! Staff went out of their way to make us and all the guests feel welcome, and were always eager to help in any way they could. FIVE BIG SHINY STARS!
“Boutique hotel, personalized service”
Rittenhouse 1715 is all about personal service, a rarity in most service businesses today. Located on a quiet side street around the corner from Rittenhouse Square, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well appointed. There is a free breakfast (omelets and organic juices extra), and you can relax with a complimentary glass of wine from about 5 - 7 p.m. If you arrive by car, you can hand off the keys and the staff will park it for you at a nearby garage for about $15/day, a bargain compared to the exorbitant "valet" rates most hotels charge. But it's the hotel personnel themselves that deliver the best experience - a welcoming attitude that makes you feel wanted and appreciated. After this experience, we can never stay anywhere else, and will be back.
“Friendly sophistication”
My sister and I stayed here for two nights, and both loved the decor and ambience of this chic little hotel. Very friendly staff, complimentary breakfast and little touches like a turning down service added to the overall very positive experience. Thank you to the staff who looked after us so well.
“A Wonderful Hotel!”
My husband and I live in the Philadelphia area but don't spend much time downtown. We decided to take the entire weekend to enjoy the city and stay a few nights. This hotel was wonderful in all aspects! The staff was so helpful at check-in and the room was gorgeous! As I am rather picky with hotels I was elated to find an immaculate room with such a comfortable bed! They also offer a continental breakfast each morning and a reception in the drawing room in the evening where complimentary wine is served. An overall beautiful, quaint hotel in Rittenhouse Square! The next time we need a get-a-way this is where we'll be.
“Great weekend retreat”
My wife and I stayed over a weekend in the summer and it was great!! The hotel is near a ton of shopping and restaurants and there is a ton of things to do in the city. The park of Rittenhouse Square was very chill and we enjoyed everything about the hotel and city. The room we stayed in was very comfortable perfect for a weekend getaway.
“Great Stay”
I really enjoyed my stay. From the moment I checked in until check out it was a great experience. The staff were friendly, and helpful with recommendations. The room was nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Great bed. They offer a tasty breakfast with fruit, and pastries. The location is convenient. Definetly will be back
“Wonderful "hard to find" boutique hotel with a great location”
Nice hotel for business travellers wanting to get away from the large corporate chain hotels but still need to have all the imporant amenities--classy ambiance, quality rooms, wifi, breakfast, etc.
