“Restful resort”
I love this resort! It's great for families, or just individuals who need to get away and relax.
“arizona holiday”
Food in the restaurant was very expensive and not worth the money. The drinks were not close to beingwhat they should have been.We reserved a king room but the resort was overbooked and we ended up with a crappy room. The internet for that night was to be free yet we were charged. The king we finally got was great and the service was good, but as far as the resort we felt like we were being gouged all the time. There are a lot of hotels in the area that are just as good but not so expensive.
“Happy Iowan”
This is the 3rd stay for our family and we always love it. With the nearby hiking, great food nearby and of course the Oasis Water Park. The beautiful scenery all around makes this a great destination during our Spring Break. Of course we love Spring Training baseball and this is very close to the ball parks. The only downside is the $40 resort fee charged per day. It would be nice to just have this included with the hotel package. Also families, food/drinks on site are very expensive. The meals in the restaurant are very good but pricey. The staff does a great job and it is just a beautiful place to stay. The nearby Rustler's Roost steakhouse is a lot of fun and the complimentary shuttle up the hill was perfect. We have never been disappointed when we stay at the Arizona Grand and will probably return in the future.
“5 night stay with our 3 boys in April 2012”
We took our 16yr, 13yr, and 11yr old boys April 4-9 for a family vacation to escape the oregon rain! We weren't sure the water park would hold their interest the full five days, especially the 16 year old but we gave it a shot! All 3 boys had a great time and surprisingly only the last day were they ready for a change. Next time, I would probably keep it to four nights unless we had a rental car to check out some other arizona sites. We did make one huge mistake not asking the cost of the Easter buffet at the resort before eating easter brunch and trust me, we wont make that mistake again! Other than that Easter surprise, it was a wonderful time and we really appreciated being escorted to our room at check in. It made for a smooth, stress free check in and we were very impressed. Be sure to get in line for oasis 30-45 minutes before it opens on busy seasons so you can get some lounge chairs. Great time!
“Great Resort”
This resort was very clean and very beautiful. Our room was comfortable and clean. The only complaint, on Saturday night there was a banquet or something and we could not find a spot to park.
“Great trip”
We had a great experience at the Arizona Grand. We have 3 kids 12,9&6. They all loved it and didn't want to leave. Even felt comfortable letting the 6 year old have some independence. None of the pools were deeper than 5 ft which was nice for the younger kids. We paid a little more to have a room by the water park & it was well worth it! We will be back.
“Arizona Grand is great retreat”
Staff is outstanding in ensuring you have any/everything you need. Bell staff and Concierge services in particular were exceptionally helpful. Hotel room itself a bit dated, but comfortable.
“AWESOME EXPERIENC”
I RANDOMLY CHOSE THE HOTEL LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO MEET UP WITH MY FINANCE IN ARIZONA. MY FIANCE HAS BEEN WORKING ON THE SOLAR PLANT PROJECT IN GILA BEND AND WE NEEDED TIME TOGETHER. WOW!!!!! THE PLACE WAS GREAT. THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE FOOD ALL AROUND WAS EXCELLENT. WE WERE ABLE TO GO AT OUR OWN LEISURE AND NO INTERPRUPTIONS AT ALL. WE ENJOYED THE WEATHER, WALKING THE GROUNDS, THE WATERPARK, AND THE BARS/RESTAURANT. I WOULD RECOMMENED THE VACATION TO ANYONE. I AM ACTUALLY COMING BACK WITH MY FIANCE AND HIS DAUGHTER IN JUNE BECAUSE WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE HER WITH A FRIEND FOR HER THIRTEENTH BIRTHDAY. THANK YOU
“Great Place to Stay While on Business”
Stayed for two nights on business with three other travelers. Every aspect was excellent! Beautiful grounds, a comfortable room, great food, plenty of pools, and a convenient location. The staff was very helpful in every area of the resort. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would love to return sometime with my family.
“Want to return”
Had a great time and want to return again. Loved that our room had a little balcony and overlooked the water park. The grounds of the resort are absolutely beautiful and well manicured and the adult only swimming pool was very enjoyable.
