Property Amenities
A large, freeform outdoor pool with spa tub is the focal point of the palm-studded Clarion Hotel Scottsdale courtyard. The hotel also has a 24-hour fitness room with two treadmills, a Nautilus all-in-one machine, two elliptical machines, and a bench (children must be accompanied by an adult).
Complimentary shuttle service (by request) to destinations within a five-mile radius gives guests quick access to Scottsdale shopping, restaurants, art galleries, entertainment, and golf.
Rooms
The Clarion Hotel Scottsdale offers 218 guestrooms in a U-shaped, two-story building. Inner rooms face the landscaped courtyard/pool and outer rooms offer easy access to parking areas. Bright, simple décor includes white walls, light-colored wood furniture, and framed Mexican artwork.
TVs have Nintendo games (surcharge) and premium cable channels, including HBO and Disney. Rooms offer pillowtop mattresses, complimentary wireless Internet access, and complimentary USA Today is delivered to the door on weekdays. Pool view rooms include flat-panel HDTVs.

“The Right Place”
We spent Christmas eve and Christmas day and nite.The hotel left nothing to be desired as our stay was great.The heated Spa was just what I needed in the mornings to relieve the body kinks from traveling.
“A pleasant getaway”
It was our second stay, and albeit short, it was very pleasant. The hotel restaurant has excellent food and great service. They were in the process of repainting the entire hotel, so they do keep it up nicely. The beds are comfortable with a frig and microwave. Our needs were met nicely.
“Value near Fashion square”
Excellent value for Scottsdale. Perfect location for Old town, Fashion square and good restaurants - all within walking distance. Ask for an inside room that faces the lovely inner courtyard - we were originally put in the back overlooking the parking lot and as soon as we saw the room we asked for another one and we were graciously reassigned to a better second floor location. Good restaurant on the premises with a discount for those staying at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel as the best of the 3star available in the Scottsdale area.
“Very clean and nice hotel”
When we 1st walked into the hotel the lobby was gorgeous. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The employees were friendly, they offered starbucks coffee in the room AND lobby, they had neutrogena brand shampoo and conditioner, they gave coupons for breakfast, the location is great(not too far or close), and they even have complimentary shuttle service. This was a great hotel, I would definately stay there again!
“Would do it again!”
From front desk to clean and very comfy bedding, I was impressed with this hotel. Just needed a place to sleep and was surprised with the value. It is "motel" drive up style but other than that everything was exceptional.

“Easy Peasy”
Perfect stopping place if you are on the road. There was lots of parking, which was especially nice since we had a Uhaul with car in tow. The bed was comfy. Hotel was also pretty easy to find.

“Getting Close to a Must Stay Hotel”
I have stayed here 6 or more times since it has reopened as a boutique hotel. I do like staying here as it is in a great location and the staff is great. I cant believe they havent finished remodeling this place yet though and it has been well over a year, still painting and fixing things. Although I think they have done a "Good" job of upgrading the place, I think a few corners were cut in the tub and shower areas. The door locks are a bit iffy, make sure your door is closed and locked when you leave the room. I enjoy the nice looking interior ground area. Its a real pleasure to relax out in the Pool and courtyard area, with covered lounges, some with ceiling fans, and the food and drink service is a nice touch. There is a Restaurant and a Bar/Lounge on the property that will do for most any occasion.
