Rooms
The three-story Scottsdale Resort offers 326 guestrooms with views of the golf course, pool or garden. Accommodations feature old-world Spanish decor with antique-style furniture and wooden window shutters. Beds are draped with 300-thread count sheets and pillowtop mattresses. Marble-clad bathrooms feature separate vanities. All rooms offer complimentary wired and wireless Internet access, 37-inch LCD televisions with cable service, and minibars.

Palm Court - Fine dining in a rustic Spanish atmosphere with candlelight and classical music. Tables are decorated with souvenir matchbooks bearing guest names. Classic dinner entrées include sautéed duck breast and Maine lobster. Open nightly for dinner.
Vista Verde - Breakfast and lunch buffets; dinners. Dinner menus include a choice of several entrées accompanied by soup, salad, beverages, and a variety of desserts. Seats up to 400. Vaulted ceilings, chandeliers. Linen, china, and fresh flowers.
Sangria's Lounge - Open afternoons until late night. Located off the lobby, with big-screen TVs and high-top tables and featuring beer, wine, cocktails, and a signature sangria. The appetizer menu includes crab taquitos, chipotle chicken wings, and jalapeno poppers.
Recreation
The Scottsdale Resort's staff can arrange tee times at any of 30 Valley of the Sun golf courses, many of which host PGA and LPGA tournaments. Two 18-hole championship courses are adjacent to the hotel.
Bicycles may be rented at the spa; they're perfect for cruising the scenic 8-mile Indian Bend Greenbelt, which is just two blocks from the hotel. Four lighted tennis courts, a gym equipped with cardio and weight training equipment, and volleyball and basketball courts offer guests plenty of fitness choices. Guest Services can assist in arranging tours and activities at any nearby attraction or outdoor area.

Fabulous hotel, perfect location.
“An oasis in the desert”
I was so impressed with the Scottsdale Resort. The pool and bar at the pool were an oasis in the heat. Room service was prompt and courteous, and all employees were extremely polite and ready to quickly handle any request. I wish I could go back now! The conference I attended there was excellent: the room was comfortable, and the snack and beverage center at the conference was constantly stocked with every kind of food and drink one could want. I would definitely return.

Excellent service. Staff was extremely helpful. The only negative was that the Business Center didn't open until 7, and I wanted to print airline boarding passes prior to that.

“Comfortable and Quiet”
I travel for business and have stayed at the Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center a few times. I work long hours so don't really get to utilize all of the amenities (there are plenty) but it is always well lit and very quiet when I end my day. High speed internet always works in the rooms. Very comfortable, nice mix of families and business travelers. As with all Scottsdale locations though it can get a little pricey during the fall/winter months.
“hidden treasure”
Set in parkland area off Scotsdale road and within easy access of the city, airport and golfing communities this is a hidden treasure. Staff and amenities are up to any i have stayed at in Phoenix. Highly recommended for the buisness person or for a leisurely holiday.

Scottsdale Resort was upscale, modern, clean, and finely groomed. We were treated like a king and queen. Would go back there in a minute.
