“Better than expected”
From the moment we arrived until the time we left we were not disappointed with the standard, the staff, the quality of restaurants, the pool areas are exceptional my only comment is that some of the sunbeds need updating to be n line with the quality of the rest of the hotel. The secluded cove makes it all that bit more special. If you do not want to you do not even have to leave. We will certainly come back.
“December highlight”
staff are fantastic- best service that I have received worldwide. Hotel facilities are fantastic and well managed. Dining options are varied, sport and recreation offerings broad and very professionally run, safe while run without inhibiting constraints. The balance in this hotel is spot on. Only critique I have is that the late night noise levels from fellow guests is extremely high for a family hotel/experience, but this is more a quality of guest problem than a management or service problem.
“Exceeded our Expectations!”
We have just had 5 supurb nights at Le meridien Phuket Beach. From the moment we were greeted as the car door opened the wonderful service started. Everything from Reception, to the rooms, restaurants, Pools and that Magnificient huge Private beach exceeded our expectations. The included Buffet breakfast was a great start to the day, followed by a late lunch at the Wood fired Pizza Beach restaurant. The bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows to suit all tastes. The Pool view Room was lovely, and recently renovated. There just was not enough hours in the day to enjoy all the facilities. We will now be taking our children there later in the year for 10 days!
“Super location and great service”
staff were fantastic and friendly at ALL times. sometimes there was a language barrier but generally a very pleasant experience and I would recommend the hotel for sur.
“Excellent”
I loved the Meridien, especially its private beach and pools. excellent location, staff are friendly and helpful. my husband and i didn't want to get out of the hotel, it has everything u need, several restuarants to choose from, two swimming pools and a private beach. however, i wouldn't go to phuket or thailand again. i hated the food, the smell of the streets because they have this fruit that smells aweful (Durian) don't try it. but the hotel is excellent.
“Brilliant stay”
What you see is what you get. Fantastic beach, good food and brilliant service. The building is a little dated but the rooms are modern, large, comfy. Everything you need to enjoy your stay can be catered for by the polite and efficient staff.
“5 mins from Patong on private beach”
lovely hotel, a bit quieter than patong but you can easily travel in for dinner and nightlife
“We Loved Phuket & Le Meridian”
It was a great place to stay. All the staff were friendly & eager to assist. we arrived around 11:30pm and they had our room ready, although the lounge bed needed to be made up. They had a staff member in our room literally the minute we got there to make it up. bags appeared promptly. - Beds were so comfortable. (air-con worked a treat too). The resort maybe a little old, but it is well maintained. We can see that they are in the process of upgrading it; however there was minimal noise / no disruption to take note of. The pool(s) are huge / clean / well maintained & the water oh so lovely and warm. Le Meridian has its own private beach which is a fantastic bonus as you can give the kids just a little more freedom with the knowledge of that extra security. Both the pools and beach are patrolled with lifeguards. We went to the Buffet dinner with cabaret show most nights (different themes & food) as our son fell in love with the "Starlight Dancers", they are well rehearsed and fun. they also make sure to includes the kids were possible. Our son loves to dance and would often dance along just in front of the stage, so they would invite him up on stage to dance with them. The food on each night was sensationally fresh & plentiful. The Penguin club was a hit and their program caters for all ages of children. The wife attended the Spa & also had Manicure / Pedicure. She loved it there. Will we go Back - Yes in a heart beat.
“great place to unwind and be looked after”
wonderful place to relax and be pampered. The restaurants are fabulous -great food and service. The spa was wonderful really enjoyed the reflexology massage felt totally relaxed afterwards. Good location short tuk-tuk ride from patong although the hotel does provide a mini bus service for 100 bhat per person leaving -i think every half hour . would definitely stay here again. We were invited to the managers cocktail party one evening- would recommend it if it happens to you!
“great location”
Great location with private beach and enormous pool area. As soon as we arrived and were handed cool wet f towels and sorbets we new we were going to be well looked after. Short taxi ride to Patong or Kata for all the restaurants markets and nightlife. Breakfast buffet sets you up for the day. Hotel restaurants are good quality though a bit expensive. Hotel staff are extremely helpful. Lots of entertainment available for kids of all ages. Small gripes should have free internet access in rooms. Should lay on a regular shuttle to and from Patong and also with the price that you are paying should have transfer from airport. For those arriving taxi from airport should be about 1000BHT.
