“Close to tower”

A small family owned property on a reasonably quiet street about 10 minutes from the tower complex. Somr rooms are very small (106), some are nice and large (320), also be aware that there are rooms in the hotel that do not have a bath ensuite. The breakfast is adequate and the people are as nice as you could ask for (I do not speak Italian, which was not a problem).

“Great location but very basic...”

As only staying in Pisa for one night main priority was somewhwere extremely central, preferably in the old town, with second priority being comfort. The Stefano certainly delivered for its location, just one road behind the main shopping street and slap bang in the middle of the old town, about a five minutes walk to the Leaning Tower. Staff were very friendly and helpful providing suggestions where to go and how to get there. However, Stefano failed to deliver on comfort, quite shocked when I walked into such a basic small room, and the beds were uncomfy and the drip out of the shower quite pathetic. However, if location is top of your list and comes above comfort then I certainly suggest giving this hotel a go, for a short stay it's ideal and you're only in your room to sleep.

“Basic”

Very basic, fairly clean accomodation (no frills). Location is within easy walking distance of all sights in Pisa. Thin walls, cold bare floors, basic bathroom facilities, coffee from automated machine. Would rate as 2*.
