This Asian-inspired boutique hotel features numerous works of art, including an extensive collection of photographs by Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist David Hume Kennerly.
The on-site Restobar features well-crafted, locally-inspired American fare and cocktails. Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant. Hotel amenities include wireless Internet access in public areas (surcharge) and complimentary newspapers in the lobby, 24-hour business center, luggage storage, limited garage parking and valet service (surcharge), elevator/lift and tour assistance. Hotel Lucia is a smoke-free property (fines may apply for violations).

Guestrooms feature custom pillowtop mattresses, down duvets, premium bed linens and pillow menu selections. All rooms have LCD TVs with pay movies and video games (surcharge). Conveniences include MP3 docking stations, wireless Internet access (surcharge) and stocked minibars. Coffee/tea makers come with premium Torrefazione coffee and Tazo teas. Bathrooms provide Aveda products and plush bathrobes.
Guestroom phones are programmed with a “get it now” button for special requests, which connects directly to the front desk. A complimentary newspaper is delivered daily.

“Portland hotel recommended”
This is a very comfortable hotel in a prime location with all the amenities. The staff was attenitive and helpful.

For some reason their restaurant has closed ... not a deal-breaker with all the great places to eat in the neighborhood, but ???
“Location location location”
This hotel was in a perfect location in the Pearl district. It was easy walking to many of the donwtown sites and the MAX. The staff was incredible. Very friendly and helpful. The only (minor) concern was a slow draining shower.
“Funky and chic at a great price”
Lucia has a great funky yet cozy atmosphere. Great service, awesome staff, adorable room right in the middle of everything. I highly recommend!
“Very Unique Hotel”
This hotel is one of a kind. The hotel is in a great location and the customer service is excellent. My only complaint is that the rooms are a little small.
“Friendly and informative staff at the Portland Hotel Lucia”
We stayed at the Hotel Lucia for two nights (three days). The room size was a little small but considering the age of the hotel and its wonderful location it worked out just fine. The staff was very helpful in suggesting things to see while in the city and wonderful places for us to eat. When we went back to get our umbrella, they gave us one to use so we didn't have to go back to our suite.
“great people, location, service, and amentities”
This was my first trip solo and the staff at the hotel were amazingly helpful and hospitable! The rooms were a tad bit small, but the decor and design made up for it. The bed was amazingly comfortable... even more so than my own bed. I would definitely go back.
“Charming, Clean, and Comfortable!”
The valet service was very helpful and prompt when we arrived to check in. They assisted us with our luggage while we checked in at the front desk, where staff were very welcoming. We had driven in from out of town and were hungry for dinner. The staff member at the front desk was able to secure a reservation for us at El Gaucho across the street even though they were booked solid for the evening. Overall, our experience was very good. The hotel is very clean, and the bed and bedding were amazing! I highly recommend staying at Hotel Lucia.
“A great hotel in a great location”
Lucia is in a central location close to almost everything in downtown PDX. There's a great Thai restaurant next door and a great steakhouse right across the street. My room was absolutely sterile and quiet. Just how I like it. Staff was friendly and relaxed- not like some 5 star hotels where the staff is trying so hard to impress that they make you feel uncomfortable. The staff at Lucia is real and very helpful.
