“Bonnie, Lexington, KY, LOVED the Hotel Monaco!”
I would highly recommend the Hotel Monaco Portland. The room was very pleasing - the bed and linens were impeccable. The room was attended to daily if I required. Room service was shining! Room Service staff was friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay.
“Review”
Very comfortable, and staff very nice. Only issue is that plugs are designed in a way that makes certain chargers (including mine) not fit the configuration at the desk. Had to use wall outlet, which was inconvenient.
“Worth the price”
Great hotel, you clearly get what you pay for. The room was huge with all the modern amentities along with an old world feel. The staff was amazing as was the location. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Fun at the Monaco!”
We were on a long weekend to Portland and decided to stay at the Monaco, I'm so glad we did! When in Portland this is where we will stay. From 1st time I e-mailed the Hotel until we checked out we were wow'd with there attention to detail and there friendliness to us by the hotel staff. You can't help but have a great time.
“January 2012 stay”
Excellent location, room and service. Our favorite place to stay in Portland.
“Why stay anywhere else?”
The only place I stay in Portland - great hotel, great location and top-notch staff.
“Exceptional Service”
From check in to check out every detail was perfect. The staff was friendly, helpful and always accommodating with anything I needed. The room was clean and well stocked. My only complaint was the queen room I booked was small. Since I was there by myself it was fine, but it would have been cramped for two people.
“Thumbs up”
Best part is the staff. Amazingly friendly and helpful.
“Home, with great character”
Lovely place to stay....has a wonderful ambience. Really enjoyed meeting other guests during the daily wine tasting. Our meals at the Red Star were very good and our corner king room was beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet. Well worth the money!
“Wonderful retreat to the heart of Portland”
My husband and teenage son and I stayed at the hotel while visiting Portland. We all loved it, including my teenage son. I love the architecture and the many unique pieces of art and architectural features of this hotel. Also, loved the grand but very comfortable lobby. Very cool!
