“Clean, safe area, friendly/customer service oriented folks!”
Being not familiar with Portland, this was a take a chance on the hotel. When we arrived after 9:30pm, we were greeted by friendly staff who were helpful with logistics of the area. The room was clean, well organized and welcoming. The entire stay was very nice without unwelcoming surprises. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at the Marriott Residence Inn was like staying at a resort. Friendly and helpful staff and lots of extras such as the pool, free breakfast, social hour, grocery shopping service, workout room and laundry room. Highly recommended!

“Suite type room, work out great traveling with my adult kids”
I was visiting my son in Portland, he is a college student. The hotel was close to his house and was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are all suites, with a kitchen, seating area and a king sized bed. The four of us were very comfortable. Also, the buffet breakfast was complimentary that included freshly made waffles. The internet was free, the pool and hot tub were very nice. The work out space was small but adequate. Each day I was greated by all the staff with a pleasant attitude and a smile.
“New Year's stay in PDX”
Visited family in PDX, as 1st time Resid Inn patrons. The location and facility were great for 4 days of going to-from downtown. Excellent breakfast provided, kitchen was equipped and very useful, and we liked the very helpful staff. The only downside was fitting our 6'-3" son on the sleeper couch, and we should have opted for a second bed.

Room was very nice. Only thing I was unhappy about was that fact that there were no VCR or DVD players. But the continental breakfast was better than most.

I have been extremely satisfied with Marriot Residence in Lloyd Center for three reasons. Location is number 1. This hotel is walking distance to theaters, mall, restaurants, bars everthing. It is close to the light rail system. Affordability/Value is number 2. The prices are very reasonable for what you get; basically an apartment with a kitchen and everything. You can cook in your room if you want to. Service is number 3. These people in the staff there are very courteous and helpful. They are always willing to try to satisfy every request. Even though I didn't need anything other than bottled water and soda, another guest needed half and half and butter and the desk clerk was very happy to oblige. The gentlemen's son was cooking a chicken alfredo and forgot a couple ingredients. I was impressed with everything overall.

So clean! Yummy breakfast! Fabulous staff! Wireless internet in the rooms! Close to lots of great things! We absolutely love this place.
