“Wonderful!”
The room was beautiful, and the quality of food in the dining room was exceptional.
“Beautiful and comfortable”
This place is a treasure--historic, beautifully maintained, friendly, comfortable. It could not have been nicer. I only wish I could have stayed longer than one night.
“Highly recommend this Inn!”
This B & B is well situated for visiting the University of New Hampshire. A great location with a walking path to the water. The room was very nice and quiet as well. The staff was very friendly and anxious to please. The breakfasts were delicious and more than ample. We also had dinner in the dining room on a couple of occasions and found the food and service to be superb. We will definitely stay and/or dine here in the future.
“Almost TOO Nice”
These folks went out of their way to accomdate three of us (my wife and I with our teenage daughter). They upgraded our room at no extra charge so my daughter could be more comfortable. This is what you hope for when you stay someplace like this, but you rarely get such nice folks and genuine caring. I'd go back and stay there for business - great location if you are visiting either UNH or Portland.
“Beautiful inn, wonderful people, will go back in a minute”
My husband and I stayed at the inn for our 30th wedding anniversary. It did NOT disappoint us. The breakfasts were delicious: omelets, french toast, fresh fruit and juice, breakfast sandwiches, and bacon and eggs. The waitresses were very sweet and welcoming. Our room was spacious, quiet, and charming. We will return again very soon!
“weekend at historic Three Chimmneys Inn”
Staff went above and beyond what you should expect from any hotel
“Three Chimneys Inn”
I was very satisfied with our stay, the hotel is exactly what you expect based on the description and website. The only thing I would mention is that I felt the room we got was given to us because we booked through expedia. There was nothing wrong with the room persay it just seemed like the discount room in comparison to what is listed on their website. It was right at the top of the stairs and directly across from an office.
“It was good ........except”
I requested that the bed linens be laundered with unscented detergent. It didn't happen. The bed reeked of perfumed detergent that was so unpleasant I couldn't sleep. I asked at the front desk about my request the next morning, and, while she was very nice....and showed me that she had done her job....noted my request in my reservation....housekeeping had not done their job. At no time was there an apology. It seemed her concern was about covering her - - -. I think this is an issue that smaller inns and B& Bs need to address. Hotels don't use perfumed detergents. As we Americans move away from chemicals toward green, clean environments, this is something that many people find unacceptable......any one out there agree....? On the positive side, the room was tasteful, clean, and New Englandy. The buffet breakfast was SENSATIONAL! The setting was lovely and quiet.
