“Great!”
Reasonably comfortable, perfectly clean and extremely spacious room. Surprisingly dry atmosphere inside (pot plants suffering), despite the deluge outside. Lots of choice in the breakfast buffet. But the main point of this review is the excellence of the Atlantic's daytime team on reception. Half of our luggage, inc. my medecine, had been lost at Schipol on the way over. Information on what to do and where was immediately available, and they took charge of harrying - really harrying - the luggage office at Prague Airport on our behalf, all done with the utmost good humour. Thank you David. You were all great on the more normal touristy bits, too.
“Great service, spacious rooms”
After an early morning flight from Paris to Prague, we arrived at the Atlantic Hotel to a warm reception and a spacious room for three (two twin beds pushed together to make a king-size bed, and one twin bed in a separate area). We promptly took a 2-hour nap. The beds were quite comfortable -- firm, but not unpleasantly so. The duvets and pillows were fluffy and soft. The furnishings were spare and modern, not particularly attractive but not bad, certainly adequate for the space. The bathroom, which had a shower (no tub), was large, with thick towels and a towel-warming water heater. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, and the included buffet breakfast was abundant. There was something for everyone. The only downside was that our room was on a low floor facing Na Porici, a main thoroughfare. it was a bit loud at night, with the trams going by. I would agree with the reviewers who recommend rooms at the back of the hotel, away from the street.
“Very impressed”
excellent hotel centrally located and within easy walking didtance of Old town Square. Staff extremely helpful.
“A very good choice for a short break”
We were very pleased with the hotel - our room was away from the street, quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The range of breakfast options was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The main tourist sites are all within easy walking distance and there's a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars within minutes.
“excellent location”
I was very impressed with the hotel and enjoyed my stay there,my room was very comfortable, the hotel staff were all very friendly, and breakfast was brill. Marta served drinks behind the bar always with a smile, and the location was great what more could i ask for. if i could change anything about the hotel it would be the carpets in reception and on the stairs, they need updating.
“Wonderful hotel in Prague”
Very comfortable place to stay with a wonderful breakfast as well. Terrific location. Would definitely stay here again!
“Defenetely recommended”
Good location, disant service, freandly stuff, a nice room, good breakfast buffet. But there is not air conditioners in the room-might be a problem at summer time and For full breakfast selections is better to come as early as possible.
“Breakfast to go”
We told the staff we had an early flight the next day, so they prepared us a bag with food to take along! We would recommend this hotel. The breakfast is very good and the room is okay. It is also well located and close to a shopping center.
“excellent value for money”
the hotel is central to most attractions, the nearest metro is 100 metres away ( public transport is the best way to travel). the staff were multilingual, helpful and polite. the hotel is modern in decor with gorgeous bathrooms. The havana bar and fiesta breakfast buffet room were very nice, very modern. breakfast was always varied and very filling. the only downside was that when visiting in februaury the rooms were very hot (hot pipes running up the corner of the room, and every night we slept with the windows open. the trams do run past the front of the hotel so if u are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the hotel. the noise didnt keep us awake as we were so exhausted from visiting attractions every day, all day. there were no tea / coffee facilities in the room but the havana did provide for a small price.( cheap ) overall i would stay here again, it was ideally located. lots of small restaurants, cake shops, supermarkets and easy access to metro and the tram.use public transpost as much as you can, purchase a three, seven or fourteen day travel ticket. use the trams to view as much of prague as possible. use public transport to get from the airport to your hotel, bus 119 goes to the metro, and runs every 8 mins!!!( taxis are very expensive and will rip you off) the transport desk at the airport speak english and are very helpful.
“Great value, awesome location, good staff”
This hotel turned out to be a gem. I chose it from the reviews on tripadvisor. The staff are great and very helpful. The room was spacious (for a European hotel) and clean. Our room faced the street and had huge windows that opened up allowing lots of light and fresh air (no bugs!). The bathroom was so clean that it smelled of bleach; loved it. There is free wifi though it doesn't reach all the rooms (I was just glad it was free!) Also a computer downstairs that you can use for free that is on the internet. Breakfast is pretty good and is also free. Meats, cheeses, breads, fresh fruit, cereal and some hot foods that were local. The beds were comfortable. Location is awesome. It's just a block away from the metro station and practically next door to a HUGE mall where you can get local shopping and some great cafes. Check out Au Gourmet in the mall for some amazing and low cost food! The hotel is only a block or so from the gateway to prague and a five minute walk to Old Towne Square/Clock. This is a neat area of town but go off in the other parts of Prague for fewer crowds.
