“Definitely would go back, now that I know”
I selected this location because it was "by the airport", and it was just a short overnight stay. Turns out it was at the old airport 10 min away by taxi, and the shuttle bus stopped about 1/2 hr before I arrived. It took me 30 minutes to figure this out and get a taxi, because of poor service at the airport info desk, NOT poor service from the hotel. Taxi, hotel and restaurant somewhat bureaucratic and labor-intensive, but very friendly and courteous, almost to the point of being humble. The first hotel in years that has required full documentation of passport etc. and the taxi actually had a printed receipt with driver number, times etc. Everything very inexpensive and yet adequately professional.
“Not exactly IN the airport - but close.”
The hotel is a free shuttle bus drive away, about 10 minutes drive from the main terminals. The bus driver (and his girlfriend) were friendly and helpful. The check-in was fast and efficient I was on the 3rd floor. Room was not not large but adequate. Good bathroom with shower and hairdryer, very comfortable bed. Not sure hotel would rank as a 4 star one or not, certainly a 3+ star one. Breakfast was good, good choice with very friendly staff, a hallmark of this hotel. If like me you have an early flight this is a good hotel better than most airport hotels I have stayed in. Only one complaint, not much in the way of English channels on the TV only CNN that had a very fuzzy picture apart from that I would recommend hotel for sure.
“Hotel location”
This hotel is closer to terminal 3 rather than terminal 1 & 2 (the international terminals), so it is not a walkable distance if you arrive after midnight when the free transfer bus has stopped (and a taxi ride will cost 200CZK )but the rooms are comformtable and the staff were friendly.
“funcional ena good location”
Clean, kind service, good location
“Clean, convenient, but basic.”
The hotel is very convenience, especially if you have an early flight to catch. It is right at the airport with free shuttle transportation (you get the airport noise as a bonus). The room is clean and offers very basic services (although adding a hot water pot will be good). The restaurant offers mediocre food with no nonsense attitude (no smile or greeting was included). Overall the value was good.
“Very Disappointed”
I chose this hotel for a morning flight out of Prague. Convenience to airport positive. After that -- not so much. The benefits, as there was some - First: free shuttle to and from airport. Kiosk for shuttle present in Terminal 2 when arriving; however, not so easy to find. Don't expect help from airport personnel finding it. People in Prague not helpful a bit. Second: ,the room at Ramada was clean and spacious and will give them that also. Third: the continental breakfast in morning was also very nice. Now the drawbacks -- without a vehicle next to impossible leaving the hotel - no easy transport. Following a familiar theme of people in Prague, front desk personnel where anything but friendly. Wow – any question I asked was given a response of outright hostility. Also, the night I was there the restaurant and bar were closed do to a "conference". A heads up on that would have been nice on decision to stay at Ramada.. Instead, my only option for an evening meal was to order room service, which turned out to be good food but premium in cost. The added surcharge for room service I thought could have been waived since restaurant was closed. Overall, though, if looking for convenient place to stay close to airport , I believe ok , but if looking to use as headquarters in and out of city center, avoid.
“not impressed”
hotel itself not bad, clean tidy and staff friendly, however had to change room 4 times. First room the hot water was brown so was moved to another room, this room the hot water was even more brown with what looked like lumps in. Changed room again, and was given a disabled room, therefore shower was too low, toilet too high and mirror in the bathroom set at low level. Bed linen had a rip in it. 4th room was acceptable. No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms. We ended up with a twin bed room, having paid for a king size room so not impressed.
“OK if catching an early flight and expectations are low.”
The TV did not work on the English language channel. The curtains were half unhung from window and there was no soap in the soap dispenser. Food of course in the dining room was awful and over priced. And, no shuttle service before 6 am. I had to pay additional for a taxi to the terminal. The hotel staff at the desk was very helpful, polite.
“Not impressed”
While the accommodations and furnishings were above par, the unfriendly staff made this hotel stay quite unpleasant. If you are booking here to walk right to the terminal at Ruzyne Airport, be sure it's the "right" terminal, as we ended up having to take a cab anyway. Don't rely on this hotel restaurant, which has no personality in comparison to all the delightful eateries in Prague.
“Would never go back”
We had booked this hotel for one night only and we were extremely disappointed and surprised to find out that the free shuttle service does not operate on the w/e. The reason we booked this hotel was because of the shuttle service and no where was it explained that the shuttle only runs Mon- Fri. We had to wind up taking a cab from the airport and the cab was an unexpected expense. There is no English speaking channels on the T.V. even though the t.v. guide in the room shows CNN as being listed. I brought the remote to the lobby to ask the clerk because I thought that I was clicking the channels incorrectly only to be told that there were no English channels on the t.v. This just added to my frustration regarding this hotel!!!
